i bought HTC ONE M8 two months before and have updated to lollipop... love this phone. but worried about the battery performance. it is not even staying awake for 7 hours even though am not an over user. am confused whether i should replace the phone.

ive updated to lollipop and im fininding alot of glitches with my M8 now. i love my phone. anyone have any idea when this will be fixed? thanks :)

It's awesome.I like this phone very much.Now i'm waiting for the new one of HTC, ONE M9.Of course it's much better than M8 from the camera and others.
HTC,The best smartphone ever i think.haha

AnonD-274519, 26 Feb 2015Every time I take a phone on my M8, I'm afraid to view it o... moreIt is your opinion. For me pictures are good, I don't zoom them as I keep them on my phone. So no big difference. Had a z1 previous to m8 and don't feel lack of 20 mpx.
There are better phone cameras but they are phone cameras and not as good as a point and shoot camera.
Mpx is one characteristic, but there are more.

Still, I just can't help but think people are tricking themselves into believing that. My experiences with this phones are positive, except for the camera (not flagship-worthy).

Needless to say, there's no mind stricken camera out there, that's why, every year all companies improves their camera inclusive to software and hardware. Phones are always like that, I love m8 with all my heart but m9 will be better than m8 but I will adhere to m8 until it worn out. iPhone 6 stole m8 design now S6 goes on to steal from what has been stolen. Eventually, it's a personal preferences. I take pictures everyday and they look decent. For now, I'm more enjoying BlinkFeed and Zoe on daily basis. Nevertheless, HTC for life no matter what

One more thing, I don't need to lie to myself, where did you get that idea? I am a happy camper and as I said I do could ask for more in terms of camera quality. Go find your own happiness!

The lack of details is just too visible for me. I just can't understand how some people can say this phone has a good camera - it's most likely that people can't accept that they bought a flagship phone with a bad camera. Lying to yourself isn't going to make it any better. :)

Junaid nebari, 18 Feb 2015Does m8 hangs? Slr camera? Hw s it?Yes, it does hang sometimes but it's not that bad. The camera is wonderful, I could ask for more but it's suit well with my liking. The battery is great, I don't need to get a power bank or anything. It last me a full day even on 90%. Truly, an amazing flagship phone!

Anku, 25 Feb 2015Can anyone tell me whats the function or use of dual camera... moreThe top lens is a secondary lens that does depth measurements. When that information is applied to the pictures taken with the Primary (bottom) lens, it allows for some pretty cool post-processing of the pictures.
Similar to the Lytro.

Yes its 64bit bt it's overall strength is no where near snapdragon 800 and 801.. If u wnt to experience real power than pik a phone which hs snapdragon 800 series CPU..

I hace used before iPhone 5 and for 1 month i use M8. I can tell you that this phone is a very gold device and mich netter then iPhone 5. i think HTC is producing perfect devices whatca lot oft people doesnt notice. I live HTC and recommend everyone ising htc. M8 has a extremly good performance perfect sound quality and it is looking beautiful in red (my phone is red), only its camera doesnt shoot gold pictures in a bright environments.
