... more2g of ram is enough for htc sense(at least until now it's enough).as you know htc with 2g of ram and equal or a few lower cpu dedicates faster and soft speed and no bug or error.you can see speed test between M8 and other barnds flagships.even m8 runs many apps faster than iohone 6(but not all).M8 was the first android phone that beats iphone 5s in speed test... htc UI works better than other brands UI and doesn't need to increase the ram.maybe 3g ram is necessary just for 4K recording or 4K display.
htc doesn't play with number and doesn't cheat the costumer.good luck my friend

sombou, 08 Nov 2014I'm waiting for M9 which can take on most people's hearts. ... moreRather than making the phone thinner htc should make the lower bezel smaller and equal to the upper bezel in size so the screen would come exactly in the center of the phone and the speakers placed equistant on both sides. The only major flaw in htc one and desire dual speaker phones is the large bezel at the bottom which results in unequal spacing of the screen and speakers and also makes the phones unnecessarily taller than conventional phones of the same scren size. But in htc butterfly S and butterfly 2 there is symmetry in screen and speaker placement though they don't have the elegance of one series. So I am expecting that symmetry and flawless desgn in M9.

I feel ...htc m8 global version is 2.3 quadcore only in asia 2.5 quadcore.........and they released 2.3 quadcore name m8 EYE ... I feel these were same .......in 4.4.4 specially designed for m8EYE reduced ir and nfc.......everything is same they are trying in difrent way......htc m8 eye is m8 only...i think ...once think

I used htc e8...its a best model.....and now i m using htc one m8 EYE comparing to this m8 eye is best mobil...cimparing to old m8 some features had changed in m8 eye......resolution is diffrnt frm e8......i lik htc m8 EYE ...many ppl are using m8 so ppl alredy javing old is better ....even i will say same words......but m8 eye is great looking...bettr than e8.....same to same m8.....dont confuse.....best of htc

I dont like any other brand than htc. htc is the best looking and best built. But I am waiting for M9.I don't like M8 or any other htc dual speaker phone In the One and Desire series cause they don't have symmetrical design.Their screens are not placed in the center of the phone and the lower bezel is larger than upper bezel and the speakers are not equidistant because of this. These are the only cons I see in htc. I am expecting M9 to have equal sized upper and lower bezels, so the screen will come in the exact center of the phone and the speakers would be be equidistantly placed on either side. The only dual speaker phones of htc to have symmetrical design are htc butterfly and butterfly 2) but they wont have the elegance of one series.

Hey if any one want to buy M8 Eye remember one thing.If u want to apply duo effects after taking pics(applying bokeh etc) ,remember the final edited pic will be saved in less resolution in 4 MP photo size.So if want 13 MP can go for E8 dual SIM If u r particular about duo can,go for Original M8 which has lots packed in.

I bought M8 eye.It's Good.But I feel M8 is better than to buy M8 Eye.Because No NFC.No IR.No MHL.No Barometer.Why HTC has cut soo many features.Only Left with one plus ie 13 MP Cam.For duo effects we apply after the picture is taken.So image is saved with less resolution.People better go for M8.First is always best.

On the box its mentione... moreHey I just inquired with a guy who does the reviews for such phones and he confirmed that the M8 Eye China version has Snapdragon 801 SoC while the Indian has Snapdragon 800...Hence I'm going ahead for the original M8.

bought this phone yesterday.
Its surprising that the magnetic compass doesn't work properly considering this is a flagship phone of htc.
The camera is worse than 4 times cheaper micromax a110q which i owned earlier.
Incoming calls get disconnected on their own but i believe this is manufacturing defect.
