What's the difference between HTC One M8 and HTC One M8 eye. Would that be regarding the camera since HTC One M8 has 4-Ultrapizel Duo-Camera and HTC One M8 eye has a 13-Megapixel Autofcus camera?

If you are tight on your budget, better forget NFC, IR Blaster and RDS Radio. Buy M8 EYE which is still a M8 with 13MP rear camera or else be ready to shell out 8K more for original M8. Rethink before you buy i.e. analyse your requirements what apps you are going to use and what not. There are many features now a days offered by many mobile manufacturers which a user do not require or uses it only for testing purpose only. Choice is yours. Better buy according to your needs and requirements, Both are great guns, can fire equally.

This phone dose not have nfc or if blaster but overall this is a amazing phone, as u guys have to decide how many times did u use a it blaster or nfc.. I m using this phone for 15 days and it's a very nice fluid and comes with great in ear audio too.. Battery life is better than any phone with less or equal milli amp to this phone..

I am using HTC one M8 Eye for around 20 days. It has the same awesome feel and Camera is much better than other One series phones. Only lagging feature is NFC which has been removed.

I m using htc m8 eye ...batterylife awsome...i dint expect .... Camera mini SLR really great work.....comparing to m8 m8EYE camera battery life superb... Resolution battery camera music watching videos online surfing ...is great battery life getting 1 1/2 day for me......i like m8EYE BADLY...THANK U HTC ... For e8 they given 801 ..m8EYE price is high so will they may not miss SNAPDRAGON & ADDRENO ....great mobile..m8EYE GO FOR IT AND OUT OF THE BOX 4.4.4 ...WAITING FOR LOLLIPOP

there is amps 801 and should have nfc at least at HTC site update it gsmarena you always lags about specs....

Actually m8 eye is universal version m8... Universal version of m8 is 2.3 quadcore...they launched in eye version tat too only in asia m8 eye....b4 m8 in asia is 2.5 quadcore....same m8 released

AnonD-322967, 16 Nov 2014i have a doubt guys in HTC india website in specs of one m8... moreIts Snapdragon 800 for M8 Eye, You can check the specs on the box pack(I had checked) in any store. Its available around for 36,500 in India. Also IR is removed and many features of M8. If u spend 4 grand more you can get the original M8.
I was also waiting for Eye version but then bought original M8 and believe me you wont regret ur choice.

i have a doubt guys in HTC india website in specs of one m8 eye it is given as snapdragon 801 but here in gsmarena it is given as snapdragon 800 feeling confused...and please tell me the price of this model in india and release date..

This little monster has only SNAPDRAGON 800 CPU which might give a feel of older version.
Feel cheated by HTC.
Camera performance is lower in comparison to Original M8. Better stick to Original than EYE version.
Also it is 8000INR cheaper than M8 in India.
