It is a phone new 2 market so I prefer not 2 buy it atleast for 4-5 months
Let the others use it and find whether there is some problem with it or not
Else you'll be the first one to suffer.....!

My Huawei P8 Max has the sensor and came with a compass app (made by Huawei), so I think it just depends on the OEM. I really enjoy the HTC A9, it's a nice phone :-)

htc your designs are always good..but what we indians expect is
HTC desire 626or 628 with:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octacore cpu
android latest(must)
32 GB internal and
3 gb RAM
8 mp front and 13 mp rear camera
4000 mah lion battery
5.2 " full HD screen
and all other features of desire 626 at a cost of 20k... i bet nobody can beat your smartphone

I bought yesterday HTC one A9 16GB from Wadi.com,
I did not see any compass there, but in specification it is mentioned.
I need to understand that the same issue with all HTC one A9 users or only with my fone.
Kindly confirm.

Accidentally drop my HTC one A9 on pool, use the rice method to dry for 3 days, then powered on.
1. camera no longer working
2. Flash light no longer working
3. Buttons malfunctioning
4. Keeps rebooting
Updated OS version and all apps but the same behaviour.
Need to check vendor for warranty

I bought this phone due to the mentioned warranty of UH-OH which assures that in case of glass break/water, etc they will provide replacement. However a slight shock just ruined the screen and local warranty doesn't cover replacement. I am seriously disappointed with this set, so fragile and no replacement.

I hope HTC can make the next generation call A10.
The spec will include SD625,4GB DDR4,64GB UFS 2.0 and support Samsung 256GB UFS 2.0 SD Card,A Nougat 7.0.And still slim design.
