why so weak battery,everything else for me it's perfect.But smartphone with this specs needs a lot more power,and that's why not to buy A9

I once loved htc for their unique design language.Even the iPhone 6 is inspired from m7 and m8.
But now the things are totally opposite the A9 has heavily copied the iPhone 6 .With only the touch id button remained uncopied.It is a very serious threat to the company .The have to stick to their own design.

Lu, 22 Oct 2015I guess this is the end of HTC, officially. They can join t... moreit might be your opinion, but i m feeling with A9 it will give HTC a new start, same like we had seen almost 3 years back when they released HTC ONE and soon it was awarded as the best phone of 2013.
I am now very much hopeful for 2016, that HTC next flagship (One m10, or whatever its name will) be the best phone again.

lolz dont comment without any confirmation or proper research. Get your facts clear and search these fones on google or gsmarena, "HTC ONE" and "HTC ONE M8". As you will see in details that they were launched in 2013 & 2014 respectively, and then search for Iphone6 it was launched even after the m8. Now you will get the answer who is copying who. Infact iphone has copied HTC twice, plastic antenna bars were introduced first time by HTC, later all iphone and samsung copied them , curved body was also introduced by HTC.
and as far as cameras are concerned HTC ultra pixel camera is great for front camera, and in this fone they have changed the camera technology, so its best now.

cant stop laughing,,, hilarious,,,,, finger print scanner is given and placed in a good place,,, but why did they give on screen keys,,,, which will make using a bit weird.

All HTC needed to do was produce a mid range 5.2 inch or 5.5 inch phone with a decent battery. And they choose not to.

When will this people realize that every time you buy an iphone you are being completely robbed. You are paying similar features but for 30% more. And the contractual plans are ridiculous, again much more expensive on iphone than any other brand.
HTC is a sucessful machine, far better overal than iphone or any other manufacturer, and it's not made of plastic like many other brands. What really annoys me is paying hundreds for a plastic device.

In the race of who is better and delivering high specs, all the smartphone manufacturers forgot how to deliver a balanced smartphone. 2 years back 1GB RAM with Snapdragon 600 was the standard, then yearly twice all OEMs started increasing the capacity and I wonder 2 years back, 1 GB RAM single core processor would bear heavy usage with normal heat, and today with high end configuration things haven't changed much other than the hype. I always wondered why there won't be a balanced device. I think HTC took this initiative to take a step back and made with latest SD 617 processor with 3GB/2GB of RAM with very good camera not focussing on Mega Pixels (21MP HTC M9 failed), but on quality. In my opinion this mobile should give us best performance (not on chart - but on usage!), very nice camera and good battery life without heat. Lets wait and watch, all other OEMs would follow this path..
