Not sure what you're all complaining about...This is FINALLY the device I've been looking for! Good imaging, fingerprint sensor, 5 inch screen (so not huge), decent battery and good enough chipset. And as for it being a copy of iPhone...the iPhone is gorgeous. Hope this looks just like it :-).

Right now, if you're looking for TOP flagships there are only 2 brands for android: SONY and Samsung.
The others are just wannabes..

I also have the One S since 3 years an... moreWell in some ways it might be a new One S for newness sakes in as much as the One s was the last Amoled HTC did. Granted the slimmed off body of the One S has never been remade except for the looks of the Axon which is similar in design. however, the A9 is far superior specked to the One S and has a sexy smooth body.
The One S had two variants and I ensured I got the S4 chip set which by all counts is still more than enough for general fluid use. lets see where HTC takes us. Onwards and upwards. I noticed there has been some super cool renders of a new handsome device from HTC here and there on the story book conceptual stages which will no doubt be bigger than the A9 - pity, as there are so many shovels around but I have a feeling that some cool things are going to happen. Hope so as the repetitive m design was a bit tired. The mid to high A9 is looking pretty good overall. Like the amoled, rounded edges, image stabilization 620 chipset is fine etc.

Well, it's the last time I even look at an htc phone. Gold Note5 for me in 5 hours! Samsung is really the only relevant android brand to buy from. China are copies and cheap and come with technology a few months old, why buy from them? plus the names! lol, xawawawiwi hawawiwi poppo loppo zuca whatever? Lg is a samsung copy-cat we all know that and it's going down down down. The design sony employs plus it's failure after failure and offensive price tag where I live makes it pure non-sense for me. HTC? LOL. M9 M9+ E9 E9+ ME9 ME9+? now A9? which looks so identical to an iphone? plus the losses, the loser posts on twitter and old people commercials? no way! leaves with either a Samsung or an iPhone. Heck yeah I'm getting a gold Note5 today!

Really looking forward to the release. It will be quality materials. Mid-high range specs is also fine and its a terrific upgrade from my HTC classic One S. Bring it on. Hey, even it resembles the body of an Apple, that's great too as I love the smoothness except here we get a bigger battery, image stabilization etc. Cool !

htc did it very well, a entry-level with a full of features... look that display and this battery, the camera i so good.... and stop talking htc is copying apple, because iPhone is using the desing that htc started at 2013.

At least for what I've read is that it will carry a SD 620 and will be priced about 399 Euro.

I think htc is more stubborn than blackberry in changing strategy... they just copied apple design, used an inferior chipset, an average 13 mp camera with a good for nothing UI and after all that check the price!!!
