Damn shit phone from HTC. PLEASE DO NOT buy this. Battery drain fast even stand by mode. HTC please recall it and refund for buyers.

NEVER EVER buy anything from this company. I paid 600 Euros for this device and it's like a 149 euros device. Problems pop up all the time (wifi disabled, GPS antenna out of order, data problems etc) and also they promised us android 6.0 by the end of March and 7 months later still nothing. Shame on them daring to demand such money for this crap. :-(

have been using this phone since 1 year....initially was working very nicely but used to get too much heated while camera was used for few mins of video recording or taking pictures for longer time. at times have to switch it off for few mins to settle it down and get it back to normal temperature. It has started to heat up while browsing too since few weeks.
Battery too has started to give up soon and taking forever to charge. To my surprise couple of days back the charge was around 18% at night while data and wifi was off and the phone was dead in the morning with 0%. Normally I keep it always on Power Saving mode but battery has been draining too badly. Also have started to show a bit of lag too and had to restart on few occasions.
unfortunately no marshmallow update and I don't think company will ever update as here in India I hardly see this phone being sold. Infact M9+ I saw in couple of shops at INR 23990.
Time to move to other brand. Maybe OPO3 or Samsung S7. A bit hesitant for OP3 as not sure about the after sales service in India and also had been earlier using Samsung S4 but that too had too much of heating issue so not sure about S7. Please suggest.

It is probably the MTK Helio X10 processor. It s a common fault with this processor which is the same one that is in my Sony Xperia M5. It gets worse and eventually the phone dies, there is no cure. This is why the E9 is cheaper than the M9 which has the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Sorry for the bad new, but I ended up having to throw away my Sony M5 for this reason.

I Luv this phone ..it's too awesome.front camera pics are too good in pics but due to overheating and battery draining it's loose it's reputation in the market...but still I m using this cell cause I prefer the camera is too awesome...

This is my 5th HTC phone (touch cruise 09- wildfire s- one S- one M7 dual sim- E9 +). After use of all these HTC phones the comparable value of this brand comes from the more time you use this phone compared to the money you paid for it. Still after 3 years of continuous use, the HTC One m7 is functioning very well with no lags or hardware problems that may be heard from other flagships ( sudden death,continuous boot loading...etc). Similarly E9+ after about 1 year can keep pace with the daily emerging apps and doing well.
