The phone works well for me. I purchased it in May 2016. The only problem I currently experience is update of the Android software. It was announced last year and nothing happens. All in all, decent phone.

Something is happening to HTC phones. I have an E9+ (1yr old) and a friend has an M9+ (2yr old) and they both starting to have battery issues, phone shuts down, shows 0% battery and stays like that the rest of the day (if you don't use it). If you access youtube or an other battery draining app, it shuts down. It is very annoying. My friend changed the battery...but did not solve the problem. Both phones have the latest system update installed on android 5.0.2. It worked nice for 1 yr, now i want to throw it out the window 10 times a day. Don't buy!

Have to agree. Bought a new one in February. Permanent trouble is battery that doesn't live more than half a day with a moderate usage (chatting in whatsapp, telegram). If I run skype on it or geolocation - battery gets low even faster.

It was still usable until I got glitches on screen. Phone started living its own life: clicking, dragging icons, activating gestures... Buggy shit...

The HTC E9+ isnt the best phone to have if you are into Snapchat, Instagram's Boomerang etc. The Quality is very pixilated and its embarrassing to post. HTC's features are very basic compared to other phones though the size of the phone is nice. The battery life is unbearable and i charge my phone atlist twice a day and there is alot of non existent virus alerts!! I cant wait at the end of the year to change phones. At this point in time, Iphone is the best phone to have.

The phone battery is an issue. It can completely drain itself in a matter of minutes esp when connected via wifi or data plan.
