      http://bgr.com/2015/03/17/htc-one-m9-battery-life/

6 hrs 8 min for video playback is extremely disappointing especially for a phone with a 5 inch/FHD. The LG G Flex2 scored 10+ hrs for video playback. Web browsing can vary. But video playback is closer to the SOT for that day you use it. After NINE generations, it seems HTC only got it right once with battery life which was last year with the M8. It seems M9 has battery life from earlier Android and HTC devices which were awful. Bad habits are hard to break.

      Qualcomm disappointed.

      HTC disappointed.

      Samsung impressed.

All thw stuff about the snapdragon 810 overheating is a load of fud. The claims have been debunked so for all the people hoping to get the m9 like me just ignore the claims cause there just fake

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset may have been found to run cooler than the 801 in some parts, but it looks like it may be leading to some overheating issues after all. Specifically, we're talking about the HTC One M9, which employs the Snapdragon 810 SoC.

A Dutch website has tested how hot the handset gets while running the GFXBench benchmark, and then compared what it found to a few other high-end devices: the iPhone 6 Plus, HTC One (M8), LG G3, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Update: HTC's online communications chief Jeff Gordon tweeted that the software of One M9 is not finished yet. Therefore, any benchmarks from the device have been published "illicitly."

To those saying the design is getting old : I actually think HTC is doing the right thing refining the proven design, if it works why break it? The phone is not too flashy, not to sober. The specs are great, nice to see that upgraded camera (altough I find the 4 megapixel camera enough for a regular users' needs).

Things a phone in 2015 should have to be HIGH END:

                                        - SD Card (you brake ur phone, say good bye to ur data)
                                        - Waterproof (do i need to explain?!)
                                        - FHD or QHD display
                                        - NO MORE THAN 5.0 INCHES (Get a note or a phablet if you want more!)
                                        - 4GB RAM
                                        - a good camera that has:
                                        - the NEGATIVE effect - i'm a photographer
                                        - touch to focus (no auto bs)
                                        - I don't care about the front one, i'm not an obsessed chick about selfies & Facebook - i covered mine with black tape :D)
                                        - 3000+ mAh battery (doesn't matter if it comes out or not)
There's a lot more, but I think these are the main ingredients from MY point of view.. Salt&Pepper as u wish :)

P.S. For those who have the idiot ideea 2-3GB of RAM is enough: Since I've bought my smartphone, I haven't touched my PC. PC's are so yesterday's thing! Adapt or die in a dusty shelf..
                                        EVOLVE!
