The phone will be great with these features. Some say fingerprint sensor or 4k display are sine qua non but those features are found in some expensive toys. They are nonsense. M9 will be brilliant if it works without any trouble.

Yes upscaled but not as much that's needed for 4k picture. I have had many phones including Sony BlackBerry and HTC I personally think HTC. Is overall best in quality and features yes not perfect but one of the best..

With improvement on Camera, HTC should also focus on increasing RAM up to 4 GB like LG G4 and bigger Battery like 3300 for such smart phone...

Great improvement on Camera but very regreat that 'No FingerPrint scanner' like galaxy s5 & Iphone 6. And HTC should make Phone 'Water & Dust resistant' (IP67 certified) :(

I have written more than 50 comments about the asymmetrical design of htc dual speaker phones since the very first htc one m7 dual speaker phone was announced. As both of us stated, that because of the larger bezel at the bottom than at the top, the screen of htc one and desire dual speaker phones moves away from the center of the phone. Which is clearly seen when we hold the phone in the landscape mode.Also because of this one speaker is close to the screen on one side, while the the other speaker is a little away from the screen on the other side. It is the uncomfortable feeling you will have if you connect two speakers to a TV with one speaker closer to the TV on one side and the other speaker far away from the TV on the other side, instead of placing both speakers at equal distance on both sides of the TV, where the TV will be exactly in the center of both speakers.It also gives good aesthetic looks. Htc have designed htc butterfly S and butterfly 2 in this way with equal sized bezels at the top and bottom with screen exactly in the center and equally spaced speakers on both sides. The other brand dual speaker phones which have this good looking symmetrical designs are Sony Z3 and Moto G2 2014. My question is same as yours... Will htc make the bottom bezel of their upcoming one series and desire series smaller and equal to the size of the top bezel so the screen will come exactly in the center of the phone and both speakers??? If they do then that would make it the most beautiful phones of not just htc but of any brand. The main reason I didn't buy M7 or M8 was because of the asymmetry of bezel,screen and speakers. And it looks like they haven't done much to correct this. Most probably I will have to wait for htc M 10 !

when will htc get rid of their logo on the front and cut off that useless bazel. make sure the top and bottom speakers are proportional. make use of all the screen. Not until they make the changes, I would not buy that phone. too long. too ugly. logo needs not to be there.

I bought 3 Sony phones in the last 2 years: ZR, ZL and Z3C. Displays on these phones are the worst of the worst. The Z3C display quality can't even match the aftermarket display I bought on eBay for $14 for my old iPhone 4.
