i just heard a rumour that,htc m10 might pack a mediatek processor. I hope thats not true

I've had my HTC One M7 since June 2013 and it has never lagged or blacked out. I've only had a couple of app crashes but that was because of the app itself having issues for updates. Other than that it's been great. Don't know why everyone has problems with their phones, you don't play soccer with them

My 1 x + 64 gb. acquired Dec. 2012 showing signs of retirement / expiration (I've written this Sept. 2015). Symptoms include, hanging, freezing, screen black outs during out going calls. What I did as a first aid - Disable the very lousy Messenger app, disable FB and I get 2 days battery life - lessened the hanging when I'm on wifi....This all said only the AUDIO Department never showed any signs of retiring.... and this was my paramount priority.. Therefore, I will upgrade to the One M9, plus or no plus and keep this (the one x plus) as a museum piece....

A dead battery can also be replaced so I don't understand what you are getting at. I know people who have a HTC One m7 working fine I have even seen someone using a HTC tattoo and a galaxy s2 so I'm not worried in how long a phone will last as long as I don't do something silly with it. Intrigued to understand what you are on about.

I believe HTC has a program called HTC Advantage. They claim to offer up to 2 years of software updates for their flagship phones. If this is accurate, this phone should receive Android updates till around March 2017. If HTC keeps to this claim, it will go a long way in keeping me buying HTC phone the next time I am looking for a new one.

CUZ. the phone do expire quick my HTC G22 just
expire I have been using it for 2 to 3 years, no
faulty water did not even enter it the phone just
stopped working. SO PLZ GUYS WHAT CODE CAN I
USE TO CHECK THE ONE I WANT TO BUY NOW? Plz help

Samsung make phones and develop processor chips but it's far cheaper and easier to let other companies like Qualcomm to mass produce chips for you than develop and mass produce them for yourself. Qualcomm have a solid reputation and have been the main source of processor production of midrange and flagship phones for a few years now and are leading in developing top preforming gpu's. The 810 is not a problematic chip and just needed a few tweaks in software updates to mature into the preforming chip it is today. If the chip was unstable as the majority of trolls like to imagine the 810 would of ceased production and would not of been used in newer devices that have just been released. The only problem I find is that the processor is too powerful to be using a average size battery. Since the updates the phone is much cooler and I seem to be getting faster performance and much better scores on benchmark. Hitting a 60k score on antutu. Don't be fooled by the plague of trolling that the web is most famous for.

snapdragon 820 is a old story! bt exynos 7 beats snapdragon 810, so WTF they want to do with 820? they can clearly make a powerful chipset more than S820! LOL I think their exynos 7 specialy made for higher benchmarks, not for real world! LOL

Used this phone for about a month now and since updating the phone I have had no issues with heat. It gets warm not hot but that's more to do with the materials used to make the phone. I'm also a very heavy user and do not see what all the fuss is about regarding the Snapdragon 810. I honestly believe that the heat issue was blown way out of proportion by the competing brands with a lot of help from lots of trolls that have never used the phone let along own it. Shame really because other than the camera that could of been a little bit better and HTC needing to use a slightly better Battery the phone is fantastic and does perform with next to no lag or issues which other than LG most Android phones suffer with.

I have the htc one m9 the phone almost a great phone i say and the m9 comes with snapdragon 810 that users already complaint with the snapdragon chipset is getting hot.The m9 also getting hot while playing hd games,browsing hours,after that htc bring OTA UPDATE by getting new update your phone temprature will decrease. htc one m9 is great phone i say is not stuck at all great chipset so guys if u want goood graphics and amazing boomsound speaker i recmnd you the htc one m9

It is good what HTC used mediatek chipsets for their smartphones. bt mediatek don't think higher graphics. it's bad thing becoz it's big gap between shitdragon & apple

this post is for those who are willing to buy m9.
Pros-
1.Full metal body.Though m8 and m9 are almost same in terms of design,m9 looks and feels more complete.
2.Unbeatable and Best in the world Boomsound speakers.None of the Iphone or Galaxy speakers comes even close.
3.Like the speakers,Audio output through headphone is also the best in the world.
4.Better camera and video recording quality compare to m8.
Now the negative sides-
1.Display.while it doesnt matter if its FHD or QHD, its the quality of the display that will dissapoint you.Colors looks washed out.this is noticable when you play a hd game or watch a video.Its less accurate,offers less contrast compare to m8. And feels really really weak when you compare this with galaxy s6 or iphone 6.M9 is what Lg G3 was.Overall,display will surely dissapoint those who buy phones for entertainment purposes.
2.m9's battery is even weaker then m8's. You will have to charge at least 4-5 times a day if you are a heavy user.
3.over heating problem.the phone gets really hot when you play high end games and browse internet for hours.its a big pain indeed.
4.Camera.well camera got far better after few updates.But still not as good as the other top flagships.
Verdict-Both M7 & M8 users ,no need waste your money ,just wait for upcoming htc flagship.
