I’m waiting just like you.
Some time back I read it was going to be in June. And the Verizon phones that didn’t get 4.4.2 earlier this year got it. There are still 24 more days for that to be true for the rest of us.
If we don’t get it in June then I don’t think people who got 4.4.2 update with sense 5.5 before the sense 6 came out is going to get it till HTC release 4.4.3 with sense 6.
4.4.3 is already seeding on the google play versions of HTC phones, so it’s sounds pointless for them to be wasting time still working on putting out sense 6 on 4.4.2 for phones that already go 4.4.2 earlier this year.
Cross your fingers it comes this month or be prepared to wait on it in a 4.4.3 update later on.

Below 300 pixel density screen and the screen is smaller
No gorilla Glass
Only 8gb of internal store on a 4.4.2 OS that restricts EXT SD card 3rd party apps write access.
Less RAM (will affect speed and how many apps that can run in background)
Slower CPU & GPU
Slower data speeds
Speakers nowhere as laud or clear
Smaller battery
And that’s just the basics of an overall view when you compeer them….

my battery usage show me that android s... moreYes it is normal and logical.
When you lunch an app most time (if not all the time) it runs no sub-programs (also known as "packages")
But Android system on this phone when I checked is running 22 packages. That's like 23 apps running under 1 name.
Google play service has 5 packages so that's like 6 apps running under 1 name.
You can check it your self by taping the logo of the app you want to check under usage in the power settings.

So to move apps you do it from settings. (that came with the phone)
To move videos and pictures you use gallery (it came with the phone)
To move documents you use polaris (it came with the phone)
If it can't be moved/delete/create/paste by a app that came with the phone. You will have to connect to a PC and you the file explorer on the PC to do it. Or you would have to put your card in a reader and connect it to the phone using a USB OTG cable. (the restriction only applies to downloaded app wanting edit access to the SD CARD slot)
File managers have to be downloaded, so the card slot edit access applies to them as well.

but it’s kind of pointless if you only doing it to save space.

When it’s all on internal storage look at the reading below.
Total 1.81gb

Camera kk seems to be the best 3rd party camera app for htc one. It produces the best quality photos for htc one. The image sizes is also larger say between 1.5 to 2.5mb. Anyone tried it?

my play ... moreIf you did a proper backup and logged into the same accounts. The items that was backup should have been restored when you went online.
Log into Gmail from a PC and go to contacts and see if you are seeing your contacts with there phone #s.
If you don't see them there, you didn't setup you contact to sync an only had it stored on the phone. So you lost it when you did the reset.
