was the backup made to a Google or HTC Account?
Did you use the same email address and password to log in to the account.
Remember you were not to be making a new account but logging into the account you already back up to.
And did you setup you playstore account with the same email address and password? Because you should have a backup of contacts on Google as well.

AnonD-237997, 31 May 2014yes :D Can i removed the SD card before I do restart facto... moreUnderstand this once you flash your ROM chip with new ROMs-oftware the old ROMs is completely removed from the chip. All that is left of the old ROMs is what ever that was in the cache partition at the time you did the ROM chip flash.
Because of this, there is no way in hell doing a factory reset can restore the OLD ROMs on your ROM chip.
So as far as you hardware knows it came from the store with 4.4.2 on it. So it important to clean to old rubbish out of the cache partition that don't belong to the ROMs that is on your ROM chip.

AnonD-237997, 31 May 2014yes :D Can i removed the SD card before I do restart facto... moreYes you can remove your SD card but your games are not saved to the CARD. And your save points are not on the SD card. And the factory reset I mentioned in the instructions will not wipe your card, only the internal storage. But if you want you can remove the CARD anyway.
If you setup your contacts with the Google account that would be backed up online along with your calendar. Your paid apps would be saved with your play store account
And you can go to settings>storage>storage settings. And things there to SD. You can the HTC sync app to backup more to your PC.

AnonD-237997, 31 May 2014Wow So before of each update i must removed the cache!? Yes it is best practices. And clearing the cache partition takes seconds to do.
with no danger to anything of importants to you, as the cache partition only holds old data for quick access by the RAM chip. So you cam have faster response times from your RAM & CPU By making the assumption that the data didn't change so it can quickly retrieve it on demand. Problem is when you do an update to any app the driver data did change and that means the information in the cache is outdated.
Clearing the cache partition allows the system to write a new data into it when apps open for the first time and it has no information stored in the cache for that app already.

So even updating apps from the play store without uninstalling the old app first will benefit from a cache partition wipe, especially when those updates had bug fixes in them.

So wipe the cache partition before doing updates when you can. But you only need to do the wipe cache & factory reset when you have software problems and want to start over like out of the box.

AnonD-237997, 31 May 2014So when i do that, my files & everything will remove. ... moreYour files would be removed, because of the factory reset you have to do. But a clean installation of 4.4.2 would be what you see on first star because you already flashed your ROM chip with 4.4.2 and by clearing the cache partition, no old 4.3 drivers would be restored in the same folder with 4.4.2 drivers, which is what causes conflicts and odd behavior.
Normally to get a conflict free upgrade of a ROM chip you only have to clear the cache partition just before the upgrade, which will not delete your personal data. But because you didn't clear the cache first, you have have to factory reset to get rid of conflicts that have already been created.

Reason for this is something old files from your previous ROM is kept in the cache and then loaded back to the system after the first start after your the ROM install. That can cause conflicts which one of the side effects can be fast battery drain amongst other things.
If you don't know how to get into the booth loader, just ask.

                                        Hi
My battery response has been reduced.
Every nights i charged it with normal use.
I have power flip but looklike its become useless.
I buy it because of its awesome battery.
Before battery use was very good.
When i using my phone like playing real racing3,its really become worm. Before didn't happen.
When this happened that i update to kitkat version.
Give me some ways to improve my battery usage.
I use power saving, low brightness, use power flip case, removed most of apps that i think used battery.
                                        Thanks.
