Mostafa Gad, 11 May 2014my final decision is to buy one max . so any one have any p... moreI will only compare max to another phablet. I switched from Samsung note 2 to one max. My experience is below :
I only miss 2 things on note 2
Camera- 8mp camera of note 2 is far better than 4up camera of one max.
Screen : screen on note 2 is better than one max screen.
Sound : is better on one max.
I advice you to buy Samsung note 3 with 13mp camera or lg g pro 2.
You will love the one max for everything but the camera will make you hate it.
Note 3 is all round beauty

Now that Apple is buying beats audio we can look forward to lawsuits left and right about boom sound copy right infringements. Will there be a boom sound in the next one MAX? Hmmmmm?

[deleted post]If you decide to do it go with the international (but I really believe it’s not worth it.)
I wish I could find a OTA copy of 4.3 (for me, being able to use my phone just the way I want is far better than saying I have a new ROM) and trust me you have to tell people it is a new ROM because it looks no different.

Mostafa Gad, 06 May 2014hi anthony . thanks alot for helping me to choose so : 1- ... moreI don’t think you are going to have any completes with the CPU on the one MAX. I for one don’t.
How we interpret “lag” is relative. It all depends on what you are comparing it to.
If you are measuring response time delay in seconds than I say there is no lag.
Because from the time you tap/swipe, to the time it takes the U.I. interface to change is less than 1sec (most times it feels like instant).
But if you are a speed junky measuring in milliseconds then there is a few milliseconds delay in U.I. response.
If you are measuring it against the SIII or S5 as I did for basic task like going to the home screen, bringing up the app switcher, opening the dealer/contacts/calendar, it is way, way, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster.
I’m not talking about bench marks and all that crap. I’m talking about day to day real would use. This phone does not keep me waiting like my SIII did or like the demo my service provider gave me of the S5.

The only complaint I have is that Android 4.4.2 has put a restriction on writing to the SD card by 3rd party software and this may not have been a problem for me if HTC had a file manager build into the U.I. so I didn't have to download a 3rd party version from the play store, that is totally useless for EXT SD card management.

                              AnonD-260440, 06 May 2014hi anthony.thanks a lot for your answer. I cheched it.It is... moreDon’t make a big deal out of not having 4.4.2
                              You are not missing anything.
You have to remember you are running sense 5.5 on top of the Android interface, so most of the changes made to Android you don’t even see, because the phone was never running a pure version of android to begin with.
An in 4.4.2 it’s still running sense version 5.5
It adds cloud print service (but are you part of the small percentage that needs that?)
And more Bluetooth profiles were added.
On the down side, flash support was removed & the ability to do any edit/write commands to the EXT SD card using downloaded software has been removed. I wouldn’t hack my phone for that if I were you.
By the way, where do you plan to get original ROMs for this phone? Because I have the Hong Kong factory unlocked model and would link to restore it to 4.3 to get back my EXT SD write access. I have dead a lot about changing ROMs on this phone but never did it because I can’t find copies of the original ROMs to download. And i’m sure as hell not putting on a custom ROM.
You should also note that if you S-OFF your phone to root it, your finger print scanner will be disabled.
Don’t worry, once you don’t screw with your boot loader. You will eventually get the sense version 6 that is being worked on now for the ONE line 2013 models. (T-Mobile is just a bit behind on development as all the other versions are in Certification now. But you will get it as they are working on it)

hi anthony . thanks alot for helping me to choose so :
1- im also choose bigger is better 2- updates dont matter with me even im now using htc chacha with android 2.3 so i will satisfy with android 4.3 and it doesnt matter with me the updates after 2 years 3- i really loved finger scan and its advantage for me than UI6 in m8 .. any way my last question is : im sure that max with snapdragon 600 + 2 g ram is equal to m8 with snapdragon 801 + 2 g ram as aperformance so is it true or false ? because i read that all pple say no lack with max .

Mostafa Gad, 05 May 2014i need decision please about ( max or m8 ) even im not inte... moreBoth phone are great. The major differences are the camera, screen size, finger print scanner and updates cut-off date.
You said camera don’t matter to you so you just have 3 things to look at.
Which screen size would you like more? (For me, bigger is better and applies to the battery too)
HTC Android update window is only 2 years from release date, that means the one max would stop getting updates 5 months before the M8 (how much of a big deal is that to you?)
Finger print scanner allows you to have a complex alphanumeric lock screen password but quickly get past it with the swipe of a finger. (Don’t work when your finger is wet. Then you have to enter that long password you made)
Both are snappy so the CPU speed/age don’t really matter and the ONE max is supposed to get sense 6 May/June so UI version don’t matter as well.
                                        Hope that helped.
