    htc one max is one of the best phablets no comparison for htc its roking......

      There is a version 1
      and the new HTC ONE has a version 2 (but version 2 charger is not out yet.)
      I don’t know if the Qualcomm chip in the one max has the feature or not, but I can tel you my phone charges faster than my SIII and the SIII had a smaller battery.

          i think i said (cache) not cash.
          It’s a hidden partition a.k.a (storage space) that stores files/ drivers for quick access by your RAM. This allow the system to boot up fast and open/load apps and drivers fast.
          When you don’t clear the cash before you do an update, there is a great chance that the old files that was in the cache would be accessed after the update. And being different from there updated counterparts, you would end up with 2 files that do the same thing but in a different ways. And that is what causes conflicts a.k.a sh-it don’t work right.
          The easy fix is to wipe the cache partition and factory reset from Android system recovery.
          You would still have your new ROMs as the ROM chip was already flashed. But you would lose your personal data, so backup first.
          I gave the instructions on how to do it in a post before so you can look it up.
          all computers have a cache and that’s what a smart phone is. (a mobile computer that can make cell calls)
          What I do before I update my ROM is to clear the cache so It is empty when I do the update. That way the cache gets loaded with new driver files instead of loading old files into my RAM, and back on to the filing system on the phone.

          Also when you do a lot of updates to apps on your phone, it is good practice to wipe out the cache to get out the junk that is no longer being used.
          Wipe the cache partition “only” will not factory reset the phone.

I will assume you did it the HTC DEV way which disables the finger print scanner to protect your stored finger print from being stolen by a malicious app.
                    Maybe the link below could help you undo the mess you got yourself into.
                    If it works I wold really like to know. As I am still doing my research on the matter, in an attempt to roll back my ROM to 3.4 without any evidence of tampering.

                          I appreciate your help and thanks for that. Apparently, i did already that procedure before but still i can connect to my home wifi, but in my office and malls, yes i can connect thru wifi, any other idea how to fix this? TIA

                                but you can solve any ROM update conflicts by wiping your cache partition and doing a factory reset from the Android system recovery. read my post time stamped 14-03-09 14:10 to learn how.
                                note: for future updates clear the cache partition just before you update to avoid update conflicts and save you from doing a factory reset.
