the fingerprint sensor has malfunctioned..I tried contacting the HTC service but they said softwaring the mobile wont work..the xda developers web says use the bootloader..I am clueless in here..plzz can anyone help me???????

One max 2, 24 Mar 2014Ahh got your point.I think you still can use drop box that ... moreYes there is drop box, but don’t say free. It’s using my limited data plan when I’m on the go to do something I didn’t even need internet for before.
SD card is just faster and easier.
I still enjoy using my ONE MAX but I had to point out how disappointing, what was done to the SD card slot in the 4.4 update was to me.

Actually I'm planning to sell my One max and go for LG G flex, unfortunately I changed my mind after I try out and found that G flex still comes out of the box with JB 4.2.2 plus low resolution screen (720p) not big of deal anyway cause screen looks fantastic and more attractive when you watching movies, but camera disappointed when I compare it to One max 4MP?! Yes there's no SD card, but the good things it does has 32GB built in storage. The funny thing it's still chapper than HTC one max even though G flex comes with snapdragon 800 and 32GB internal and same screen size and 4K video!

I don’t want wright access to install apps or play games.
I wanted to be able to store and edit my work doc’s and time sheets from the SD card.
Don’t want to take the chance of losing anything important because I didn't remember to backup and the phone gets damage and I can’t access internal memory then. (I can’t plan when accidents happen so they only happen when all my data is backed up off the phone.)
I want to be able to backup viber, whatsapp conversations to the SD on the fly. So I don’t lose it in a factory reset or damaged phone.
I want when I download attachments in emails I can sort it in folders of projects vs personal on the SD.
I want to use torrent and my file sharing app “Send Anywhere” and have the default download location as SD card.
In have less than 16GB of user accessible storage that I have to share with installed apps and 29.27GB of available SD card storage, which on 4.3 I could store whatever I wanted on it, without having to wait on a PC connection. Now on 4.4 I’m being forced to depend more on a PC connection to fully use the SD card slot that came with the phone. When with the advancements in tech, I should depend on a desktop PC less. There is something wrong with that picture.
Anything that don’t need to be on the internal storage should be kept on the removable and easily expandable SD card. Wasn't that the point of the SD card slot in the first place?
If I buy a phone with no SD card slot, fine. But don’t sell me a phone with the slot, then after the fact say it’s only to look at, not use. I’m not the kind of guy that buys a truck, when I only needed a budget car just because it’s nice to look or for bragging rights.

The only changed on KK the print cloud and the dialer plus the camera a bit better with performance improvements, I don't need SD card I'm not even download that much apps on my phone anyway, plus that Google is not going to support SD card anymore due to the performance effect issue with Android already Google doesn't support SD card since Ice cream sandwich, so it's not bug of deal.

One max 2, 24 Mar 2014I don't think KitKat that bad. Just got the update today an... moreLOL when you flash your ROM chip with new ROM software. You can't just go back by "disabling software"
The partition that holds all the factory default software for installation is what is updated/ over writen, when you flash your ROM chip. The only old data that is kept is what wasn't cleared from the cache partition. That's why it's good practice to wipe your cache partition just before you do a ROM update to allow a conflict free installation of new files from the ROM software to the OS partition. If you want to go back to a old version of your ROM chip, you would have to download the old ROM software and manually flash your ROM chip with it. And unlike my old SIII phone, old official ROMs for this phone is hard to find for download.
Stay on the 3.4 version until a workaround for Google SD restrictions is available, then you can update your ROM chip. Right now the 4.4 update is no big deal. You can live without it. (Nexus users will say they love it but they have no SD cardslot to get restricted.)

Anthony, 23 Mar 2014HDR takes 3 consecutive pictures 1 normal exposure, 1 und... moreUpdate mine it seems that camera works even better now I noticed 4.4.2 fixed the HDR still in strong light a bit better now, fingerprint scanner more accurate now.Over all performance great even with big games like Injustice.

You most likely have conflicts that is causing your lag and camera problem. Only way to fix it now is to wipe the cache partition and factory reset from Android system recovery.

Just got the update today and still din't updated yet, the lag issue due to the HTC apps disable it and restart the phone i think it will turn better than 4.3, camera it should be better now cause Z1 compact camera fixed with 4.4.2 KK update and don't forget Nexus 5 camera fixed with KK 4.4.2, storage not big of deal for me cause i didn't download that much games on my HTC one max perhaps 2 games that's all since i own the IPad mini retina.

The new update Kitkat is not working for me. The phone lags a bit and I can longer take photos the way i used to....something is wrong!

this is very good phone and I like it the only problem I have is browser special stock browser sometimes randomly close without I close that I have this problem with my older HTC evo 3d phone browser random close,anyone have this problem?

HDR video it's great at night actually it reduce the notice and improve colors a lot plus it does shows the full HD video if it's taken with a DSLR.The good thing about One max camera doesn't has the same issue as HTC one purple x hue on pics at night, but still you switch on the antiashake for the best pics without flash including video.overall it's an great phaplet but still need more improvament(without Samsung gimmicks features) plus more faster chipsets,more pixels other than it's great.
