Check your GPU, if it's not Adreno 225, then that's the HTC One S C2 model which horribly features old power hungry processors that is overclocked to 1.7 GHz just to come at least par with the speed of the Dual Core Krait.

Very fast, stable, nice design, nice display.
Cons: poor 3 g signal, low battery life and some dead pixels can occur during time.
I have this phone for more that 1 and half year and i am happy with it.

You can upgrade your phone to newer Android versions using cyanogenMod as an example.
I used this guide and with some works and effort I now have a full working android 4.2.2 on my htc one S
I also put the google package on my phone with gmail and so on.
With some knowledge and strong nerves it's not too challenging, but you need to be used to computers and not afraid for a small challenge.

well d phone is 9ice but what i experiece was that the battery do go down on time, and that d producer should creat an external sim poth apart from that d phone is really ok.

This is the best phone I've ever had in my entire life.
Unfortunately me phone got stolen so I don't have it anymore ! I really miss it !

dont buy this f phone, i bought it nd after 2days the wifi stopped working
then after 1 month it restarted again and again

Still loving this phone and use it beside nexus 4 and nexus 7. Ps the chipset in the specifications description is wrong as I have the s4 M8260A not the M8290 as described here in the uk so That needs correcting ! Just checked antutu benchmark and got a whopping 17000 without root!

hi, i have purchased this fon last year as i like its sleek design and configuration but within 3 month its started giving me problem with its home key button and till noe my fon is with the service center for replacement and i havent received it yet, worst experince of my life, thats why i want it to share with u dont waste your time and money on this fon.

We have three One S in our business. Recently mine got pinched. I went to buy HTC mini butIin the end got a new black one S black. Really, it's still one of the sexiest, smartest looking devices we have ever used and gives many a run. Finish, edges, size, screen gorgeous. Can't rave enough. Glad for my second unit. Could be collector item. Classic.
