AnonD-76250, 18 Oct 2012That is not true about the GPU the 225 is just an overclock... moreYes GPU do not have any overall change accept a little better clock but slight performance enhanced for the same reason as it has been clocked at 400MHz from 266MHz. Whereas cpu I didn’t say that it exactly the A15 architecture but based on. QUALCOMM’s try to customize the architecture to make their own innovation in it.

This is probably the best upper midrange phone, especialy now build in with 64GB of internal memory. It is a shame it doesn't have as much publicity as it deserves. HTC would be TOP manufacturer if they would build only phones like this one - S.

It's A8, that's why S3 is a failed product from qualcomm, it's laggy, bad memory controller, etc. S4 is absolutely fantastic, yeah you don't get Tegra 3 games, but the performance is really impressive.

I am from Pakistan and upon asking arou... moreThere are 2 versions of HTC one S. One is with old processor clocked to 1,7Ghz, and second with new processor 1,5 Ghz. New 1,5 is much faster than 1,7 version.
New version of HTC one s is model z520e and old version is model z560e(you can find that info at back of the box).
Take care while you choose, because price is the same and they look the same!

Hello everyone,
I am from Pakistan and upon asking around, the One S being sold here has the 1.7 processor. They say its a "1.7 Krait"...though from previous discussions on this forum, i assume its not.
Could someone please tell me the exact downside of the 1.7 processor, since i REALLY like the phone and would like to know what the difference between the 1.5 and 1.7 is.
