I bought this on June 3rd and liked it comes with android 4.x
but on July 6th it DIED. When took it to service center they confirmed that the First Batch of this Model is shipped with faulty board which will kill the phone in less than 5 weeks.
They also are giving a replacement which will take 15 days or so. Awaiting the replacement.
I have used Wildfire with no issues for long and switched to HTC One V. But since this died I will think twice before buying future models.

Using this phone, and another HTC phone. For the last couple of days, both are not able to download any application from Google Android Market. Restarted, Chnaged memory card, Factory reset,, all are done. After a factory reset, it is really able to download any application only once. So, during that time, i have to download all te applications I needed. If I try to connect for the second time (By this time, Market icon changes to Play Store), no application can be downloaded. You can google this issue in "waiting for network + android " . No solution is found yet. So, dont buy HTC phone till a soulution to this issue is found. You will get a Android-Less Phone instead.. :( Ple help me, if you know a solution to this issue. Worldwide, many people are gettign this issue...

Isn't the name is enough.... Check out reviews on HTC one v... All have voted 4+ stars out of five..
One v... Seriously essential smartphone...
And yesss the phone was actually havin problem during the start up session... Or the launching session... But now the company has over came all the issues... Go for it... Nd yes soon jb will be available.. predicts to be in august start up...

HTC one v or... moreits better you go for the htc one v because if is bigger screen, more clear screen, better camera, and ics android 4.0 and last but not the least a better battery life

Absolutely,one v is brilliant phone, inbuilt battery is ok,,
If u have battery problem,just download. .save battery,apps,,then problem solved..

one v is no.1 budget phone,,,because of 4 gb inbuilt memory & memory slot also,,,good pixel,fast browsig etc..
even wifi signal is weak ,,,its working very fast.

Guys plz do not buy HTC One V..I had bought this in the month of May and it stopped working within a month.Its over a month now and my cell is still with the service centre. They aint giving me any replacement.Its a pathetic situation.So plz spare yourselves the trouble.DONT GO FOR HTC ONE V

Its a dam good phone, for the price..the touch is good and the feel is awesoomeeeeee...i love my HTC one v....it rules..
