The yellow spots: This is interesting stuff since this issues were signaled only BY users from INDIA(?). I guess it is India! Look at these threads where the Yellow spots are signaled and you'll see that almost all the complaints came from people from India. They maybe got some lot made bad. But don't worry, those yellow spots will disappear if you play with the phone and set the brightness to maximum (basically those spots are the glue, so they will warn out in time)

I have been using this phone over a month and trust me it does not have any battery issue ....though u will get a phone with secondary camera with this price point. If it comes to service centre if u live in a metro there will be no prob...
Htc devices do not hang so non removable battery is not a problem....

A secondary cam should have been there.
And at that price u get dual cores from samsung and sony.

Main thing to be noticed is that tha manufactured date of the phone... Newly manufacuted phones doesnt hav any problms but the phone manufacured in april or before that have problms... So u can now go for it...

overall the phone is good but it does have its own set of issues....1) the screen goes blank completely for 2 seconds when you change applications, 2) while running games, the general response of the cell is slow, 3) opening any interet based site is very slow 4)finding contacts and their numbers is not simple and user friendly 5)while ending calls, slight delay in removing your finger results into redialing of the same number.

Not worth buying HTC. Within months of purchase, the phone started giving lots of issues. Finally died and need to replace. More than the phone the after sales customer services is very very poor. I am totally frustrated with HTC.

I have been using HTC Incredible S since last August, not even once I was put in a situation wr I need to remove the battery to reset the phone. Even if the phone hangs up, just wait few min so that the phone will restart automatically.
No Battery probs too....
You may go buy it. I recently gifted one my love and she loves it.

Hi all,
I read the reviews and came to know that HTC one v has the main problem of yellow spots then i talked to HTC customer service. They said that the in some of the devices, this problem comes but u should visit to HTC authorized service centre and get the problem resolved. as per my view, HTC one V is great phone in compare to Nokia, Sony, Samsung. its camera quality is excellent. Although i am not using this phone but i visited many stores and checked the phone bcz i am planning to buy this one and its price is also comparatively less according to its features. The display is 3.7 and ICS 4 is already there in the phone. I prefer this...one
