Please someone tell me which mobile is better HTC ONE V or Sonny Ericsson Xperia Ray, the price of the both mobiles is same.

Understand that you and your friends having no issues with the handset doesn't mean that no one else should have any trouble with it. This is a public forum, you'll find all sorts of feedback on the phone here.
Just as a negative feedback doesn't effect your experience, all the positive feedbacks here won't resolve the issues being faced by users.
From what I've seen here, most of the people having trouble (LCD Discoloration, Dead phones) with the HTC One V seem to be from India. Maybe they ended up with a faulty shipment!

So it isn't all fake.
Good phone on the whole, just a little expensive considering the hardware included. But the quality issues mean getting a good phone in some parts of the world is a bit of a lottery.

Gifty, 11 May 2012Some phones has 5 mp.camera,but there is so poor quality.li... morego for the sony...you really wouldn't want to risk getting a HTC One V with LCD Discoloration or one that dies on you and then having to run around the service center & retailer just to get a replacement.

arun, 11 May 2012Guys, Can any one tell me the drawback in HTC one v
you get similar hardware for a lower price, the only thing that this phone has which most other don't have at the moment is Android 4.0 ICS out of the box. you have to decide if you want to spend INR 3-4k extra for just ICS which may other devices will be getting in due course anyway.
besides theres the issue of yellow discoloration on the LCD, phones dying...you may not face these, there are plenty of happy users here...but is it a risk worth taking?

Wel a just bought one yesterday, and a vas surprise that a cannot turn the phone on when a was deciding betwen several models. intimidate got home and charge on, but Disappointment arrives slightly after 10 min. The back cover is heating like a girl when on wifi. por speads and a annoying seatings many that lucks like a kids lollipop.
the audio on the device is a standard not something wow.
the 3.7" is the min and the aluminium body vas a key advantage, tut the chin cover on the back i plastic and its not veld cut , so that its very bad locking. for the money that i spend a should buy 2x alcatel 995 ultra, or alkatel 995 an lg3 and believe me a have an lg3 400 on antutu scores 2160 and the THC 2650. the lg has a 7225 with 200 gpu advanced . and for the money its the best pick. Mm very disappointment for the performance of this device, trying to seal it wright away

Htc 1v is quite better but it should be heat up very quickly while clng n if gorila glass be in htc then its better. 40 Perct satisfied

guys I hv been usng ths phne fr arnd 2 o 3 weeks...
if u r comparing ths phne wit xperia neo v thn u shuld knw tht one v has super LCD 2 mark ths it's LCD "2" wic hs a betr display thn super amoled.. nt as gud as super amoled 2 though.. bt way betr thn xperia.. ths portion of one v shuld nly ans ur queries o choices.. battery back up is way Betr thn any Android phones I hv seen so far.. u cnt a battery backup lyk Nokia coz thy dnt hv android os installed.. heating prob is vry common in android phones n ths is no exception.. thr is slight heating prob bt tht also aftr a heavy usage. it doesnt heat up quickly.. rest of d features n spec r k.. wel in mny web sites thr hvnt mentioned abt d super LCD 2.. so please do sum gud research.. I hv ths phne n found out abt it wen I read d features on d box.. I wuld recommend one v ovr xperia coz xperia doesn't giv u any latest features.. n plus its nt upgraded to 4.0 so v dnt knw hw it wil wrk wit tht.. adios... any queries abt one v.. I m thr to help u out..

all r saying the main problem in htc one v has some problems with screen that yellow supports in lower part of screen .. i want to know is it true ???
