just bought this phone 5 days back ..awesome phone .i have never heard a sound quality like this ..wonderfull camera and a brilliant baterry life....i m loving it

i think no phone beat the htc one v it was the worlds best phone the memory is mind blowing it can easily transfer all apps and games very easily effort less its audio is beats its beats my heart cam quality one of best quality i had the phone one back with an offering price of 17500/- with an 8gb memory free please trougth u r old phones and get htc one v

1st i bought nokia c5-03, except camera clarity it is fully wast and i totally wasted 9300rs so now i planned 2 buy one v.so pls tell me whether i can go with this r not

And about live wallpapers, I didn't find a way to set it only if you installed a wallpaper with an icon in the downloaded applications section, there is no live wallpaper option in "wallpaper" menu. But the phone runs live wallpaper good, I have tried it.

Having the phone for about 3 weeks, and it is brilliant, nothing bad, battery is great, signal is good camera is good and everything runs perfect.

Retailer told me that the company is delaying the replacement. I am stucked.

I still don't understand this device. It is hugely taller than my Defy+ (120.3 vs 107mm) with less PPI, same overall RAM, less free RAM, lower PPI, same processor cores and clock speed. It has a really low screen to face ratio.
Basically a better/newer CPU/GPU that will run ICS for a 13mm taller device. It would be like changing your phone just to run ICS with little other benefit.
I understand that it may suit some peoples needs but I would put this device behind other new small devices like:
Sony Xperia P, Panasonic Eluga, Sony Xperia Sola, Sumsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Samsung Galaxy S Advance.
It is pretty poor offering on specs from HTC at the lower end of the market. And no I am not anti-HTC. I own two compact HTC devices from when the offered the best functionality for a small size.

[deleted post]'Floating Touch' is just Sony's name for the feature. I think Cypress invented and sold the technology to them. Could be wrong.

One look through the opinions and it becomes clear that there are several users facing serious issues with the HTC One V.

I had the same problem, within a few days of buying the HTC One V i noticed yellow spots at the edges of the screen. It was almost like a line, visible clearly on white or gray backgrounds. I had to get a DOA from the Service Center and then take it back to the retailer who took his own sweet time in replacing the handset with guess what? another faulty handset with the same problem!!!
looks like they have a bad consignment considering how others have been facing similar issues. *beware* guys.
the phone isn't really a value for money proposition you could this similar specs for a lower price and higher specs at similar price (check our xperia ray)
