I have a couple of question... moreLet me explain somehing, on One V, you have 1GB to install apps (enough?? yeees) and also you know there are so many apps can be moved to the SD card, so, imagine that, i think you can install about 300 apps in the same time!! who wants more !!!
Don't be afraid of the internal memory, for normal use it is more than enough. I guarantee :)

Srinivas, 16 Apr 2012Thank you. But what is the problem with the sensor? Will it... moreDear, the GPS antenna and performance on One V is EXTREMELY fast, the antenna if the GPS is REALLY fast and i can get 5 sats even when i am at home.
Don't be aware of the compass, it will not affect the phone usage at any way.

I accept that manufacturers really just target consumers who want to spend less with smaller phones. Manufacturers do this because they lack imagination and really can't be bothered with true progress so they just keep building larger and larger high end devices.
This is probably the 2nd best spec'ed 3.7" phone on the market though. So that's a good price.
Note that a company that sells these phones generally won't trash the models they sell in reviews.

it comes without any file manager....
Hence its impossible to access the sd memory and internal memory....
So plz suggest me any apps for file manager...
And the phone is just great... the display is awesome

It's not possible to get features of One S or One X or for that matter any such compatible phones for such a low price!!! Be practical those who expect dual & quad core experience. If you wish so pay more & go!!!

ghost , 15 Apr 2012I am confused bw neo v and one v.both have same price.I wan... moreDefinitely One V.Its has Sense User interface.It is more complete than Sony's timescape UI i.e.you dont need to download extra apps just to cover the basics.And-
1.One V has 1gb for apps. Neo V has only 300mb. And you cant move all apps to SDcard.
2.One V has anodized aluminium body.Gives it a premium feel than Neo V's plastic body.
3.One V has beatsAudio.
4.It supports divx xvid avi out of the box.
5-One V looks a hell better than Neo V (That's why I never bought Neo V)

just checked with htc official one v page. this phone is missing the digital compass.
What is the real use of a digital compass? will its absence affect any features? is it a dealbreaker?

Making a note never to pre-order a device :)
Really there were 2 market segments for this device.
a) People who wanted a good cheaper phone
b) People who want a powerful but small phone
I think really now we are just left with (a)

This phone got a quite bad review on Pocket Now 3 out of 5.
Key reason is performance. Performance is not good. In web browsing it is bad.
I do find their reasoning that the phone is also bad because the screen is only 3.7" quite naive and stupid. What are you meant to do if you want a smaller phone that the flagship (may as well be tablets) phones.
I am going to wait to see how the Sola goes in reviews.
Web performance is important for me. If the basic phone UI is bad (like expanding to see threaded e-mail being slow) the that is bad too.
