dont prefer this if you are a regular user
because this phone is very slow and having very poor multitasking

Don't buy this phone
-very slow performance
-everything is slow in this phone.
even if you press call button on a contact it will take 4-10 seconds to proceed the call. Also messaging is very slow it takes long time to open a new msg.
-very low battery back up (needs to be charged twice a day for regular user )
-No 3D transition,reduced transition effects.
-very few widgets
-No live wallpaper
-HTC sense having limited features
-Lock screen is not customizable.
-No live weather animations.
-only 150-200 mb ram will be available during run time,so multi tasking is very poor.
-no video stabilization
-can't set default video player in gallery(in other apps it is possible)
-no digital compass.
my old desire s has all these features.
if you wana buy a phone in this price then choose
xperia sola
having extra features
-dual core CPU
-very good performance
-nfc
-floating touch
-digital compass
-glonass
-live wallpapers etc
other wise go for galaxy s
having more features

For those who thinks one v is worst. It's an awesome phn. I love it. Beats audio sound is just brilliant on the sterio. Very clear like crystal clear its very nice. Ya ther is no beats headsets but the HTC headset delivers very good sound also with good beats. U'll love the music with good beats in that headset. Camera is also very gud. Very good features in camera. Those craps who thinks sound is not good u buy any phn any phn s3 or I phone or Sony or HTC u'll not get satisfaction any where U'll always b. SSeen complaining about everything.

Same problem happened with my phone... I can find the any app or games also picture and music files through the file manager, but can't find them in the gallery and music player.importantly not any where apps and games but shows SD used. And one advice Don't use any plastic back cover it will reduce ur Call Quality

Why is it that this phone is getting harder to turn on and off also sometimes lately when I go to the message screen all I get is a black screen? It is really starting to make me wish I had got another cheaper Samsung

Hii,
This is good mobile except the following
-Laggy and slow when working with two or more apps
-sound quality through headset is poor
-No live wall/lock screen.
-I hate this version of sense ui,ie.4.0.
-Working with pdf is not so impressive.lagging and become blur when zoom in/out.changing page is also slow.zooming picture is also slow.loading big size document is very slow.no auto formatting text.and formatting excel file(xlsx)is difficult.and some functions are missing.same for presentation file also.finally i downloaded office suite pro from playstore.and it gives some good result.but zooming prob and lagg still persist.however seems reduced.
And all other features are good.
nway i m sorry for previous comments..,and hope HTC will fix these probs.

well this fone has version 4.03 and also has bean update ......so i recommend u to buy this fone......u dont have difficuilty carrying it ...its fast...and its AWSUM.

There is no spec... moregalaxy s2 or one s could have gone into your pocket... y dint u buy either of these.. and it could live up to your expectation. go and check out other ICS phones compare with them. you'll come to know why you choose htc and not samsung,sony,etc.
