I bought an HTC One V on May 24th, 2012. On September 13, it went dead. Absolutely DEAD. I was not able to bring it back up. So i deposited the device at a local service center. They said they will send it to the head office as they weren't sure if it will be repaired or replaced!
I kept calling the tech support guys to get me a relacement. The device is hardly 4 months old and it dies due to a hardware issue. They should replace the device immediately. But no! Their attitude towards customer is terrible. They hung up on me when i insisted on a replacement. Terrible customer support. They only know to suck money out of you. If your device dies due to their mistake, they wouldn't accept it. Guys do not buy this phone or any other HTC product! Terrible service and bad quality.

In 1v there are twice the pixels 480*800. So the processor and adreno 205 gpu are doing more work in 1v. How ever that alone can't efect that much, because in benchmarks they are close to each other. The reason must be that the time escape skinned os in xmp has been optimized better for gaming kind of enterntainment than the sense os in 1v.

Why can the xperia mini pro play gta 3 and htc one v can't? They both have the same amount of ram and have a 1 GHz single core

Which one to choose between. Sony xperia neo L or this Htc one V ?? xperia neo L doesnt have a zoom and even temple run lags. Forgt about nfs aur anything else.. pls update me about htc one v. And which one is better??

friends i am confused between desire x and one v.
Desire x has more spec than one v but no 720p video recording and also low end gpu and chipset.

hey guys
pls help me out as im going to buy in the next 2 days.
1.Does the phone lag while playing heavy games , multitasking etc.
2.I have read many many complaints about this phone i.e yellow dots appearing on the bottom of the screen , the cell not getting on after some months of usage.This problems occur only if the phone is manufactured in march-april period right??
So if i buy this phone now there will be no such problems right?
3. When will it updated to JB ?? I have read on the net that the condition for JB updation is minimum 700MB RAM but one v only has 512 MB RAM so will it be updated to JB??
4.Howz the battery backup of the phone will it last atleast 1 day if i use it moderately??
