The camera isn't too bad the flash is definitely a nice feature for this budget phone. Audio on the One V is top notch really great phone for the price. Only thing i can criticize is the web browsing speed.

This is good mobile,...don't worry..u can buy one v....
This is smart phone,not laptop...not s3..
Don't compare, this phone with...laptop..
Why you are blaming this phone..? If u wan to play,more hd games,,,use sony play station...not smart phones,, ...all smart phones has limitations..even s3 also...

camera is not good at all, dont listen to others, they have been paid to talk about how some features are good, dont trust them, the camera is ok outdoor, but indor is just so bad that the better camera has a calculator, i'm not kidding. About asphalt 7 i played it, it runs smoothly, have some lag but its not bad at all. Overall performance of the phone are ok, and gaming too, but camera is the worst i've ever seen on a smartphone of that price, I've said earlier that i compared one V and Huawei g300, and Huawei china sh*t is just better phone, although Huawei doesnt have HD video camera, but its superior than One V. I'm really disappointed in Htc one V, wasted a lot of money on him and didnt get what i was expected for that price....Once again, its a good phone, but camera is really bad. If you take outdoor pictures this is the phone for you, but if you think of takking indoor pictures, or low light dont buy it. There is only one thing left about the video camera, the continuous autofocusing is really anoying and you cant capture a video without a blur, its always trying to focus something, and you cant turn that off....

I was going to buy htc one v but found samsung galaxy ace 2 better bcoz of dual-core processor and 768mb ram,on youtube people are playing gta 3,nova 3,asphalt 7 on ace 2 which one v can't handle without lags and one v having unremovable battery too

I just wanted to ask u have u played asphalt-7 ... morei m not played asphalt -7 on 1v.it is a monster graphics game with size 1.5GB.Also it cost some amount too.this game found lagging sometimes in galxy s3.so i m not sure about 1v.
I hav only some days experience with 1v.so i m replying with a little knowledge.
1.i dont find any option's for live wallpapers in 1v.however live wallpapers still working fine on it.and i downloaded some more too.the method im using is slightly defferent since no option that i can find in 1v.
2.i have no idea about wifi.i actualy dont knw how to conect it.upon ur reqst i tried it on my laptop.that was unsuccessful.i need a gud guideline for wifi.
3.i am getting only 365mb ram.but hardware info has 512mb.all games that i installed works fine on it without lagging.temple run,pro evo soccer 2012,final fantasy III,shadow gun,some casual 3d bike and car racing etc.there are lot of other games above 1gb.i have no idea about that games.

3)512MB ram seems a bit low for this phone does it affect the performance of the phone tremendously while playing heavy games?

I have some problem
1.I download a PDF file from my Gmail, so now 4 day’s continuously downloading in notification area. Can not do anything.
2. in every touch & uploading downloading movements RED Border appearing in the screen

one v is a good smartfone at this range.
It's perfomance is good.while swiping through the home screen,or menu app screen or opening ur gallery and swiping the pics next next,it is fast enough or no lag.but if playing some games like temple run and some apps at the same time and switching between them by task button,it seems lagging a bit.
Gameplay is really smooth in it.i don't find any lag while hd game play.it is clearly due to adreno 205.however i don't checked bulk hd games like asphatt 7(1.5GB).i recomend close all running apps before playing hd games.when i play temple run along with office suite,chess,opera mini,gallery and file manager at the same time,temple run crashed.temple run like 3d game is very smooth on this device if played alone also disconecting internet.sometimes these games automaticaly check for update while playing.
Also while working with pdf and office files there also laging a bit that I noticed.
Video playback is also very smooth.avi,3gp,mp4,mkv played on it. I hav to check flv,divix,xvid and wmv too.i wl reply later about it.
Internet browsing is good enough.i recommend google chrome or opera mini browser.
There is no network problem on it as other smartfones has.i get 2 or 3 range bar most of the times in wcdma and full bar in gsm.
so thats all about perfomance.
For camera I have only to say one word 'awsome'.it wil capture pics within micro seconds or we cant find the speed.very fast.i dont find such speed even in my digital camera.the quality also super.and a lot of settings and options also available there while shooting.a simple and useful image editing app also inbuilt in it.if I can, I wl upload some pic later and post here. Ok.
Also 1v can be conect to your hd tv and do work in big screen.i not checked but options there. also a htc hdmi adapter is needed for easy synching.
