I have had the Device for a while now and what a great phone, the phone is smooth and the integration is the best of any phone I have used(I am also a phone sales consultant).The speed and screen quality screems exclusivty and HTC really did well on this device.I have not had one problem with this device,very fast and user friendly.They really have my vote from now on,HTC*****5 stars

I have had a very horrid experience with HTC and more specifically HTC One-V.
It is not just about one bad experience with one specific unit or one specific model (which one might be willing to overlook), it is also the company's insensitive response to the problem, their callous attitude towards customer service, which makes you wish that you never have to deal with them again, and how it can be stopped from taking others for a ride. I can not help see it like a very short term focussed seller on a traffic signal, who does not care about the brand or the customers.
I bought this phone sometime in May'2012. On July 2nd, the phone became superheated (so much so that the colour of the back cover also changed) and the device went dead :-{{ . On calling up the customer care, my complaint was registered with reference no 12INC2800002XX and I was directed to go to a service centre (Redington in Infantry Road, Bangalore) with an assurance that it will be resolved. Once I reached this service centre, I was informed that they were not dealing with HTC devices :-{{ . So, now I had to go to another service centre which was about 15 Kms away from this place :-{{ .
Here, I was told that the phone cannot be replaced as it had crossed the threshold of 30 days, (it was 45 days old now), and hence can only be repaired :-{{. It was taken for repair and was told then. returned back after about 15-20 days :-{{.
After about 60 days of using it after the repairs, history is repeating itself. The device had developed the same snag :-{{. I have registered the complaint with reference no 12INC3400024XX today on 21st August. They want me to again go through the same grind and get the handset repaired:-{{.
To make the experience more frustrating, getting to speak to the customer care executive is also not easy. They are so busy or overworked that one has to wait for about 10 minutes to get through to them:-{{. I have never had such a disgusting experience with any durable brand before, nor do I think that in this competitive era, any other company can be as lackadaisical or insensitive.
I have decided not to again go for repairs, as the recurrence of the same problem in 4 months has convinced me beyond doubt that, this is a defective design. This problem is bound to recur, since it is only the symptom and not the root of the problem, that is getting fixed.

When I try to tag any picture the options seem to small for my finger.
Even I could b able to do pinch zooming in facebook page in my old HTC explorer.
Is this mean explorer has better in pinch zooming than one v?

Can I use led flash continuously while recording home video at night time?
Bcoz at nite time it can't do clear video recording in full darkness?

What abt its storage guys??? How much is user available... moreDear you have about 1GB for applications, and 100MB for user data like photos or songs, and the rest is reserved by the system for updates and so.
I have this phone 4 months ago and it is great :)

Hi friends,
I bought this last friday. I am experiencing a problem. Phone regularaly disconnects with 2G network. Error shows 'check if you are out of your 3G or Wi-Fi network'. Does this means this phone is mare suitable for 3G? Please help me out.

I don't know why people are complaining this... moreGuys I buy this mobile one month ago after all this review. I am really stucked with this mobile, my camera doesn't work after 3 days I buy it . After the restart it went to normal.again some days after its happen again.camara is amazing,but some problems with the video recordings.VIDEOS doesn't play in the mobile player most of the times,due to this video recording is impossible.All we had to do is format your memmary card in every weeks. finally I understood all the problem behind this is the phone lost its H/W decorder.
Why this happening . HTC IS REALLY CHEATED ME . Can anybody HELP ME PLEASE

What abt its storage guys??? How much is user available?? Because i saw a video review on youtube and it shows 254 mb user available from 1 gb and remaining of 1 gb is consumed by pre installed apps. 3 gb is consumed by ICS.

I am going to buy this phone in the next week..
I had few q's regarding this phone-
This phone is just a single core smartphone will it cause lag in the gaming experience inspite of d 1 ghz processor coupled with adreno 205??
Is camera quality good?
I have read many many complaints about this phone ppl say that the one v phones manufactured in june come with some defects in the screen like some part of the screen gets yellow.Is it true??
and the last one-D phone has a non removable battery so wat can i do if the phone hangs or doesn't boot up!!Wat can i do to fix it?? ppl also say that the phone becomes dead after 1-2 months of usage like it won't boot up or hang..
I am really confused. Please help me.
