i bought the one x two weeke ago i have screen problem my screen always have concussion i did two updates but still the same i want to know if this problem hardwere or softwere??

Two software updates since buying and now running 1.29.401.7! I think the first update dealt with battery issue, although mine was always on a par with my other smartphones, perhaps a bit better, in fact!

Please advise battery life. H... moreThere's no correct answer or this, 'cause there are a lot of variables that influence the battery life:
1. Your style of use. If you are a hardcore user this is not the phone for you..you should get Motorola Razor Maxx. If you still want the phone in those conditions, you should have a charger at the office and, eventually, a mobile charger like this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Trent-IMP1000-Thunderbolt-Blackberry/dp/B004CHMP50/ref=pd_bxgy_ce_img_c ; But if you are a normal user HOX's battery will last ad least 12 hours. Mine lasted ~24 hours with 30% and 15% left at the last 2 charges.
2. Your internet data usage and brightness. To maximize battery you should keep your mobile data off and the phone on GSM mode (not 3G or Auto) and use WiFi a lot. Also the brightnes should be set manually at 30-40%. Of course, GPS location is off (those are my settings and i activate 3G and mobile data when i don't have WiFi coverage..it takes around 15 secs). There were reports of a bug related to Autobrightness that set the brightness to 100% and after that disable the Autobrightness resulting in fast battery drainage. If you keep your phone on mobile data and 3G the battery will drain a lot faster. Also, remember that the strength of the carrier's signal and WiFi has a great impact on your battery drainage.
3. As far as I know, the ROM and the the radio are different from zone to zone and some are good but some are not so good and they'll have also a great impact on your battery life in a positive or negative way. There are also reports of faulty ROMs, that are draining battery very fast with no reason at all (sometimes aftre one of the updates)...i didn't have any problem with my HOX so far, even after 3 Updates.
4. Applications that you want to have in background. If you has a lot of those apps + permanent updates from autosync (from e-mail, FB, Twitter, weather etc) the battery will drain faster, of course.
In the end, it's hard to have a correct and fair answer. You should chat with people from your country and the same carrier to see what are the particularity there. Cheers

i just buy this phone, the problem is this phone alway cannot detect the micro sim card and battery alway hot.

This is my sixth request, white HTC one x 32 gb. Since two months no update, same 1.19 ver warranty main dealer. Brightex Pakistan. What's wrong all greys have updated but whites backlog. My is Singaporean origin guys pls, clarify. Anybody got updates. Battery is main problem drains dame day. What is improving n 1.29 ver update. HTC open your eyes some time back assembly image for micosoft windows. Now you think to over confident.

zappaff, 18 May 2012actually this one and sgs3 and lg optimus 4x seem quite use... moreif you are not going for 4, why the heck would you go for 8? Do you even have any idea how long it is going to take for 8 core phones to be out? At least not soon.
