Hey guys, just want to ask for some pointers here. I'll probably be switching from blackberry to either htc or samsung. Now, i'm thinking whether if I should get either one x, one s, or s III.
I normally use my phone to chat (a lot), a bit of web surfing (coz browser on bb suck as we all know), take photos from time to time (coz also bb camera sucks), and i don't really play games on the phone.
I'm not sure if specs for one x and s III will be too much for me or not, coz obviously i'm not a hardcore gamer. All i want is a phone that is quick to browse (no lag on a day-to-day usage if possible), battery life that can last for at least 24hrs, take good photos, easy to type (as i chat a lot), and hopefully no software bugs. Some ppl told me one s is enough.
So from the info above, if u guys can help give me some pointers, that'd be fantastic, coz i've never used android phones before, and i was hoping to get a good first impression from it, as i'll be using the new phone for at least 2 years.

I find this phone actually quite ugly, with its od bumps and curves. It has poor battery life even with the extra "power saver core". The audio is average at best and beats audio is a shoddy gimic.
It doesn't have a microSD card slot so no expandable storage and you can't take the battery out! So when combined with the short battery life compared with rivals it means you have to carry a charger around or hope to find a socket (maybe out in a field next to a cow).
Bonus big screen... yeah great if it would last. Oh and it does phone calls, Bonus!
I'm going for the samsung s3 or maybe the samsung Note. Better battery life/removable, expandable storage, well built, to match the HTC.
For all those who protest the S3's appearance/quality, I suggest you stop acting like style queens and stat counters. Plastic is the best material for a phone, unless ofcourse you demand diamond studded gold leaf.

55 degrees is kinda normal, especially if you play games or whatnot. it's good to charge the battery whenever you have the chance...

I've been using this phone like 2 weeks and my question is: if i charge my battery when its not that low ( i mean about %40 or %70) does this type of charging makes my battery die quickly or what ? Any bad things ?

I got this one at the day of launch. One thing i cant get that user available internal storage is 25 gb..and when i connect my HTC ONE X with my PC(in disk drive mode) it is showing only 9.5 GB free..However if i total up the memory of content in foldes it is 1.9 GB..I cant get where is my rest 14 GB gone.. Ny1 else facing the same prob?

AnonD-54764, 20 May 2012how do you charge ur one x? is it safe to keep it plugged t... morejust charge it whenever you can, that's it. and you can leave it plugged on the charger for as long as you want, it has an overcharge prevention so no worry. it will charge to 100% then drop to 95% and charge again to 100%, ect...

Always charge your phone when its almost dead,and unplug immediately after its fully charged for best battery life and durability.

how do you charge ur one x? is it safe to keep it plugged to in even when its fully charged?
or should i just chagre it when the level is arounf 20% and then take it off when its full?
