I bought it from china and swear that x9 is one of the best in market and runs every app and game very fast. screen,sound,touch and camera are awesome and the headphone are great.also battery with full usage will stand a day and dedicates you about 20% at night. it's my first htc and changes my opinion,i had xperia c4 but x9 is far better.take my word and go for x9 with no doubt

Rins, 02 Mar 2016"Specs do not tell anything about a device .." for a heavy... moreI have great X9 and enjoy it every time.it's really fast and awesome and runs every game smoothly.the camera and screen is very good too.the touch respon.... is very fast and soft... most important is UI and kernel and how the kernel makes communication between hardware and software.... be aware of that all of android phones have drop speed and quality after many months or 1year except htc.my friend said like you and went for xiaomi and other for meizu but both of them changed their phone to htc and Samsung. don't ignore the quality,UI and kernel stamina and.....

HTC is a nice phone and it would all ways be the best and it is very strong cause you can throw it any where and it would not mash up. an is very popular

I play lots of intense 3D games, which is why i AVOID phones with weak GPUs and chipset overall. The PowerVR G6200 is great, but the price of this phone with these specs is just bit too high.
HTC is becoming like Apple...pricing their phones higher than it should be. If this phone was cost around 250 euros then maybe i will consider it. The Xiaomi Redmi note 3 like i said, is a "budget phone but with premium quality build and high-end specs" and it only cost around 180 euros, which is a steal imo at that price and specs. I used to be a fan of HTC, but now, not anymore when theres too many better products out there

Specs do not tell anything about a device . HTC was an awesome brand and will remain the same . I bet that the exterior will be better than most of the similar priced ones. I have a desire 816 . It rocks a snap 400 soc but performs gorgeous . Cheaper alternatives would never be a preference to an experienced user

The specs are great, but the asking price is PRETTY steep especially when there are cheaper options available. For instance, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (mediatek version) has the same specs but better battery, a fingerprint reader and only cost about 1/3 of the price of this phone....
The Meizu m1 Metal is even cheaper than both the xiaomi and this HTC X9....I have nothing against HTC but theres just better options out there.
