The Android OS is far superior and rated the best OS, so the Desire S is a better choice

jdpsmb, 20 Jan 2012i have this phone from t-mobile and unlocked.... will this ... morei think most likely, it will be working perfectly with GLOBE coz the RADAR is being sold here in the PI and i am also planning to get this phone along with the SONY XPERIA S that's gonna come out by the end of january. just make sure though that you'll buy the radar here in the philippines so that the guys from globe can configure the settings for you easily if in case you have troubles with the unit's compatibility with the network.

I bought this phone. Solid build. Amazing touch experience. Unnoticeable slight difference compared to its 1.4 GHz counterparts. A neat uncomplicated OS. You must have this if U look for a credible alternate to Andy or IOS. Fits ur pocket.

this phone is good! they may not have huge number of apps but almost everything you need is here though i wish i have opera mini and file transfer for my office docs via usb, not to mention the quality. the call volume is quite loud, you have yo set it low to prevent ear damage. overall the phone is great!

For everyone who's ONLY interested in a Windows Phone should go for Samsung Omnia W instead of HTC Radar because of the Super AMOLED screen and a better CPU than this one, and all that at a much cheaper price!!

If you're wanting to buy a nice phone within HTC Radar's price range and are not concerned about the WP7 at all, I suggest you go for a Samsung Galaxy R!!

PS: I played with both HTC Radar & Samsung Omnia W on a mobile shop which has live demo. And I must say, the Omnia W is far better than the Radar in performance, whereas, the Radar is an instant eye-catcher in white clothes. :)

Whats the logic behind the 22500 inr pricing for radar while the omnia w is priced at about 18000inr in indian market rite now! Agreed that you have better build quality but omnia w has amoled panel and a 1.4ghz processor. Besides this might be the excuse for htc not updating radar's software in future. Beware people!!! Windows tango is just round the corner!!! And I am a fan of htc phones especially the htc sense for android. But not such a fan that I buy your devices for any price you ask for.

lozza60, 12 Jan 2012I'm just wondering there's a lot of things that don't work ... moreThere are apps for Youtube, Vimeo and such. Not for all video services yet, but more are coming all the time.

It's basically the same limitation as with iPhone, and it's hard to say anything other than that iOS users have gotten used to it.

Besides, Adobe will not develop Flash for mobile any longer, and since more and more people are using phones and tablets without Flash I'm pretty sure content providers will adapt to keep their audiences.

rickydile, 05 Jan 2012hi there, i was wondering about the battery life of this ph... moreDepends on how heavy your everyday use is, I guess. I went by train across the country to see my family over the holidays, which included about 16 hours of me trying to keep myself entertained while the phone kept trying to find cell towers out in nowhere. Had about 25 percent battery left when I arrived, so I'd say that you get a day of quite heavy use out of it.

In more normal situations you'll probably be able to go two or three days, depending on how much you use the phone.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced a sound quirk I have on my device, and that is that it seems to take a while, maybe 10-15 minutes of playback, before the sound gets "warmed up".

It starts out a bit dull, but when it has played for a while it gets quite enjoyable without having to turn on any of the enhancement options (none of which I find to make much of an improvement to my taste).

hi there, i was wondering about the battery life of this phone? coz some user said that it will only last for 1day for a regular use..and also the storage its only 8gb.. i was thinking if HTC will release a 16GB storage of this version of handset..? and also the application, thus it have enough application which is comparable to apple..
