there's no site confirmed that this device have a SD card, second : there's no mobile shop in Egypt sell this phone with SD card.
e.g : Samsung galaxy FIT have 2 Gigabyte SD card and all the sites confirmed that, also my first Samsung galaxy fit i bought it with 2 Gigabyte SD card.
another example : i bought Rhyme too and GSMArena mentioned that it have 8 Gigabyte SD card included, this is true too!! coz i bought the mobile and i found the 8 Gigabyte SD card in it.
maybe the guy who sold u the mobile put in the package a 8 Gigabyte SD card to sell the phone to u!!
in the end Rhyme rocks and better than Desire S. :)

[deleted post]@redman : My phone came with an 8gb sd card, maybe in egypt they are not providing, for that how can you mention that desire s does not come with an sd card ?....and you said bluetooth wont upgrade to 3.0 !!!..i can send u a screenshot with the bluetooth 3.0 version in it...for one or two bluetooth problem might have arised , for me version 3.0 works just fine...

at first : the internal memory of the Desire S is the same of the Rhyme (only 1 Gigabyte user available) but GSMArena publish inaccurate information about the phones the Desire S have 1024 Megabyte user available.
second : Rhyme is OVER Desire S in the Specs plz read the following :
- Rhyme have Sense 3.5 and Desire S have sense 3
- 8 Gigabyte SD card included with Rhyme but nothin' with Desire S so if u will buy Desire S u should buy a SD card with it.
- in Rhyme Bluetooth version is 3 but in Desire S is 2.1
- about the thickness u will find that Rhyme is thinner than Desire S (Rhyme 10.9 mm, Desire S 11.6 mm).
- in the Rhyme u will find Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, this dedicated mic NOT found in the Desire S.
- lots of Accessories like the (Charm, the Dock, USB Cable, Charger and headphone).
- the Battery in Rhyme is 1600 mAh and in the Desire S is 1450 mAh.
third : Rhyme is NOT dedicated for the women and my proof is :-
- there's no pre-installed period calender.
- the colors of the phone not dedicated for the women unless the plum color but the rest of the colors is suitable for men more than women, all of us know that the colors suitable for girls and women are PINK and PLUM only.
- am a i guy and use it and i didn't find that this phone dedicated for women, anyone can use it.
so buy it and don't be afraid it's an awesome phone.

but be aware that i used the phone for 1 month and i still have 990 megabytes free "i updated all my apps to the latest versions and still have memory space".
don't worry about the internal memory it's big enough for the updates
and if u want a large space, the mobile already included with 8 Gigabyte SD card and u can buy another 16 Gigabyte if the 8 gigabyte not enough for u :)

am Ahmed From Egypt and i had Samsung galaxy FIT, i sold it after 4 months and got Rhyme.
HTC Rhyme is very powerful phone NOT dedicated for the women, so am a guy and use it without any problem.
many people say that this phone is for girls coz of the (Charm and the Pulm color) but the rest of the accessories suitable for women and men.
if u want to buy this phone u will have the Dock which is a powerful accessory (just put the mobile in the dock then plug the charger and play some music u will find that the sound will be surrounded)
about the color there are two colors suitable for u
Clearwater, Hourglass (hourglass look like the color of the sand)
mine is Clearwater and u can see this color here
