What the better option to expand the Internal memory. please help me in that or need to change the phone and never go for HTC.

hey buddy my HTC salsa does nt support m to make a vedio call I m really tired for this I actully bye this handset for make vedio call bt its nt support with that Skype application also is anyone can tell m y we can't make direct vedio call like how we make in Nokia or Samsung mobile phone .I m really tired for this pls anyone sujjest m wht to do

and quys this phone does not support skype video calling,if you want video calling then yoiu need to download the application called (Tango me)

Hey guys,
M using this cell phone from last 10 months I like this phone it works good and looks nice, but have some drawbacks as every one said, low internal memory, phones gets heated when you charge the battery or connect to data.
I want to get rid of low internal memory, can any one tell me how to root the phone so that I get more internal memory coz I don't think and expect that HTC is going to over come this problem.
Guys who ever going to buy the phone please make sure you choose a phone which has enough internal memory so that you enjoy your phone with applications

Major Disadvantage
1. No video call support using skype
2. Very less internal memory

Really like the Salsa. Such a unique, nice design but I like the 'Samsung Galaxy Ace' too. Really don't know which one to go with. Does the Salsa come with a USB port??

Have used this mobile for more than 6 months and here are my reviews.
Pros:
1. The Sense UI is good and user friendly.
2. The build is good. Light and handy.Though the metallic matt finished body on the rear is little slippery.
3. Nice budget phone at this price.
Cons:
1. Low internal memory of just 512 MB. Any android app will need the space for apk, data and cache. All these are mapped to partitions on the internal memory. Even on a rooted salsa with apps2sd or links2sd, only the apk gets moved to the SD Card.
Another option is to flash data2sd and move the data partition to the SD Card. Here the phone will crash heavily because the apps are supposed to write heavily to the data partition. Because the SD Card write speeds (even with a class 10 micro SD) are low on Salsa, this will crash.
The data and cache will always be on the internal memory. So ths low internal memory is a terrible problem. Other manufacturers like Samsung and LG have made their internal memory of 2 GB for most of their budget phones even, HTC has to learn.
2. The phone gets heated up when data is enabled. This happens on both 3G and 2G mode. The metallic body makes it even worse by passing the heat on to the body.
Bottomline:
Better dont buy HTC phones till they learn it in a hard way.

After reading all these reviews, I'm thinking to buy salsa. Am i a foolish?

people say it has low memory but we can expand it right..?? then what ?? may be some android apps dont work through microsd card ....????plz reply

Actually Internal Memory is very low, when we download 4-5 additional applications it shows that internal memory is low so it can not be done.

stupid phone. low color resolution practically, skype does not work. internal memory very low.. lots of task cant be made by this. But its cheap and you will enjoy the feature of android.
