Visit htcdev.com to know how to unlock your bootloader for salsa...then root your device to get superuser privilage..for that checkout xda forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275410....after rooting install link2sd app from market...before installing u must partition your SD card..Google link2sd, u will know how :)

Finally the here is the solution 4 low memory problem in salsa!!
HTC has given official bootloader unlock 4 salsa....unlock your device, root your salsa and install link2sd from market...u can transfer any system app 2 SD using this software by creating an extra partition on your SD card...the new partition will act like internal memory and the partition size is what we decide! Seems a little complicated first but once u read the steps carefully, it will be so easy! Checkout xda developers 4 more info....I have more than 80 apps installed on my salsa...really loving this phone now!! But u have to compromise your warranty :p

Don't buy the phon... moreMate, a lot of apps cannot be transferred to the SD card and such that you are reliant on the internal memory only. This phone is flawed due to this. You cant even download software updates as it needs mininum internal memory available so if you have apps that reside only on the internal, youre stuffed!

The major problem is with its internal memory,unable to install more than ten apps....other things are good....

Omg, seriously what's wrong with people. Don't buy the phone because it has 150 mb storage? Buy an sd card then. Only about 15 pound for a 16 gb one from amazon for eg.

I want to buy cellphone upto 14K so i think... moreDont buy this phone. Internal memory is only 150MB which is useless, only 5-6 apps could be installed from the market. Also u cannot make carrier based video calls, for making vc u'll have to install third party app from market and the other person should have the same.
No point of giving front facing camera.

Mostly becaus... moreI totally agree....even I'm using a salsa....I have only 4 apps on my phone yet I have only 11 mb left....I have not even signed in in the Facebook app,so that memory should be empty but yet....god knows whats happening....its a VERY bad feature of slasa....wanna buy a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.... :D

htc salsa is very good phone...but some applictaions are not wrking properly...like g-tak...after formating phone, some days software wrkng ok ok..then after it is same...poor battry life is one headech...phone is having mirror software so..there is front camera.....!

I own a Salsa, and I'm very unhappy with it.
Mostly because of the little memory space that has been allotted to the applications. I barely use 5 appplications: twitter, facebook, gmail, and google maps.
But even then, the memory gets full twice a day, and I have to keep cleaning it out.
The phone claims a 2 gb ram, but reallly it allots only 150 mb ram to applications, which include native apps of the phone, like the address book, etc.
It is completely stupid to do that!
I moved to HTC from Blackberry, and never had any such issues on any blackberry phones.
The UI overall is average to below average.
I know I'm not going to recommend this phone to anyone.
The camera is really average, the screen is okay.
The 4 default buttons at the bottom are not as responsive anymore, after just 3 months of use.
The facebook button on the phone is stupid.
The facebook app of the phone is also quite useless.
I'm quite frustrated as a HTC Salsa user.
