Well this is a great phone in many respects, i have been using it for a year now. However, i must stress that the battery life is hopeless. Even when i first got the phone, 1 day max of battery life. If you use apps, wifi, 3g and just general browsing you will have a few hours. I completely disagree with the review written by gsmarena about the battery life. If you want a phone with good battery life, this is not the phone for you, otherwise the android, sense and features this phone can offer you are second to none.

I like it, had a Sensation HD before, BUT: Desire HD camera much better, resolution /file size of Sensation pics only half despite same (8M), hard to accept this step back, Í regret the buy or is there any trick /help out there? Contacted HTC and dealer, no solution.

It's a great phone, HTC sense is wonderful, Camera Quality is good, BUT Battery drainage is horrible, if i used the phone for web browsing and litening to music it only lasts for 5 hours !!!!!

Hey are you sure that there is not any problem in ... moreI ordered it from HTC here in middle east. but really worth it if you want to have a day of high usage or two with low-mid usage from your HTC, i think it's safer also than those other 3rd party batteries out there. I yesterday I was downloading a 700mb movie and the battery temp was only around 30c ( i don't know with your stock battery but with mine before it goes 40c). BTW im using stock rom. also, you will see the backside of the battery(the one with details not the one with HTC logo) since the pins is on the other side.

@ Aj ... Hey are you sure that there is not any problem in using the Htc Evo 3D battery with Sensation ? And how many bucks did it cost to have an original one. Reply asap as I was thinking to switch from Sensation only because of the low battery issue.

im using HTC EVO 3d battery for my sensation for 2 days now, im getting low temperature now while downloading games from market (29c, with my orig battery, it was a little bit hot to the touch, perhaps around 35c). battery is at almost 7 hours now and i still have 74% left. 30 mins music, around 20 mins gaming, 1.5 hours download, few calls and sms.
so far so good!
