Today is your lucky day because I am going to answer your question.
I love the Incredible S, the touch is amazing so don't worry too much and it does not get dirty. If you worry then get a cover (skin) like my wife did. There is many different materials to choose from.
The Incredible S has a better looking display than the XE. With the XE, it washes out unless you are looking at the display perpendicular.

no bad router or signal drop main issue is wifi is not getting switched on after the update and lot off pepole are having the problem even htc pepole are confused it is almost 2 weeks and no bug fix hasnt been released be careful folks with ics

Upgraded to Android ver.4, the battery life is obviously improved : ) I love this phone so much. Bravo HTC!

i wish to buy the white one and if its rubbery then i am afraid it will absorb dirt and get oily too. look bad after only a week

First check out what you got in your phone by going to settings / wireless & networks / wi-fi settings / (click on the second physical icon on the phone) / advanced
Now check if you got Use static IP selected or not.
If selected then check out your windows pc settings adapter to get relevant info (write it down) ip address, subnet mask, gateway and dns1 and dns2. All this info you can copy to the phone except for the ip address which it will be different for your phone, so if you pc has 192.168.0.1, then use 192.168.0.2 for the phone, but make sure that 0.2 is not used by any other device in your network.
If your router is set up to use DHCP, simply deselect Use static IP and it should be ok.

If you overloaded with apps, many processes will be running in the background. Processes need resources and memory is a resource, if you use all this resource the phone will stop working.
Moral : take it easy with the phone, you don't need to download everything!

1. enable wifi
2. go to app folder (its on the left side of the scroll arc at the bottom)
3. go to settings
4. scroll down to about phone. click it.
5. click software update.
6. at the bottom click check now.
7. click update. enjoy ICS...

AnonD-48862, 02 Apr 2012hey guys dont go for the sensation xe ics update it is kill... morenope doesn't happen after the upgrade, maybe your router got a bad signal...everything is fine after the upgrade except for the scroll arc at the bottom it is repalaced by horizontal bar but with 5 shortcuts instead of 3 nice...

first its specs attracted my attention, so i went out and bought it...its actually a great phone before it started to go crazy...with no previous warning, i cant press any other thing even if the notifications are on and appear on the screen. all i can do is to factory reset the phone, it has happened 5 times at least since i bought it one and a half month ago
