first its specs attracted my attention, so i went out and bought it...its actually a great phone before it started to go crazy...with no previous warning, i cant press any other thing even if the notifications are on and appear on the screen. all i can do is to factory reset the phone, it has happened 5 times at least since i bought it one and a half month ago

Last friday i got a notification on my phone that said a new release of android was availble . I was connected via Wi-fi to my home router and downloaded the new version of android 4.0.3, and after updating the phone and it turned on again i couldnt connect to the router.
I can tell that the Wi-fi device on the phone works just fine. Because i can find my router, and my neightbours. It aks me the password ofc. Then when i try to connect, at first it says connecting, then after about 2-4secs it says disconnected. When i look at the list of routers, it only says 'not in range', but that isn't the problem.
I would say its not a hardware problem, but somehow a software problem. Because it was running just fine before the update.
Any idea on how to fix the issue ?
Anyone experienced the same problem after updating the phone ?
Could it be a WiFi driver problem with the on the new version of android ?
Here is some info on the software on my phone :
Andriod Version 4.0.3
Htc Sense version 3.6

Dear friends,
Im using sensation XE now for over 4 months n its been amazing so far. I am from Bangladesh and i wanted to download ICS update for my phone yesterday. I saw most of u guys are already upgrading to ICS but I couldnt find the link to download it. Now can anyone of you plz help me or give me the link to download the ICS update for my phone and also let me know how can i download n install it.. thank u ..cheers

i got my update v4.0 and 3.6sense and i observed that my wifi was not function, location and the ringtone sound was not same loud as b4. any solution or idea to solve this issue? please help me.

AnonD-42480, 30 Mar 2012After I updated to ICS,for the last 15 hour that I charged,... moreNo pal!I think in my own opinion,Ice Cream Sandwich is less power hungry than Gingerbread OS,mine too,when I updated to ICS its improved the battery and much longer life to my XE(17 hours of standby,only eats 4%).

After I updated to ICS,for the last 15 hour that I charged,it remains at 100% in standby time,whew! Awesome improvement in battery,nice job HTC...
