Hi
I bought this phone about 3weeks ago. This is without a doubt the best phone ever.great interaction between applications, love the themes, the exchange server works perfectly, the trackball kicks ass. you can tweak this phone to perfection. This is my second HTC and I will not buy another brand ever again.
One question though:
Ive been trying to download from one particular site and it keeps on giving me an error (Link is unavailable) I did download from this site before and now seems to be not working. Any advice???
Anywho I recommend this phone beyond a doubt! Great stuff HTC! You rock!

I have had HTC Snap 6175 for two months, It has not frozen up, It has performed great. I get corporate exchange email, Office communicator IM, I can open (word, excel, PDF, powerpoint,) office attachments. I can edit word, excel attachments. MS Mobile Office works great with this phone. I can record voice notes, pictures, video and email them instantly. Great Phone, Love IT.

my trackball gets stuck frequently. the media player is very poorly made. the only thing i like about it is that the storage card contents do not show up automatically in file explorer. this keeps people from viewing my private files when they use my phone on the pretext of *testing* it.
seriously, my phone hangs very very frequently (more than once daily) ever since i upgraded to wm6.5. the numeric keys should also have been placed on the RIGHT of the keypad, since we thumb the FN button with our left hand, we should obviously hit the numerical button with our RIGHT. unfortunately because of the keypad layout, hitting numeric digits in SMS and notes is a real b1tch.

LOVITAH, 15 Apr 2010hi guys ive only had this htc snap for less than a month bt... moreHi I have the same problem, the phone freeze all the time and it is getting worse since last month. Now I'm not be able to switch it on. the "smart mobility" logo is the only thing I can see on the display before the phone freeze. I've been using this phone for six months but I'm really disappointed. It never worked good. It used to freeze almost twice a day since the first day I bought it online....I've supposed it was windows mobile. I updated it a couple of weeks ago but it did not work.

This is phone is a heavy disappointment. The menu an icons looks basic as though a half-drunk windows technician sent the software to a really drunk HTC technician to release to the public as a final product. It is embarrassing to anything mobile, as thought the menu was curved out with a blunt knife.
Secondly, the media player is below basic... windows media player mobile is NO WHERE near the pc version and yet other phones come close. I have not yet tried videos but I will let you know. The aesthetic appeal of the interface is below zero and the phone takes long to launch some applications. Basically, unless there is an update, don't get this phone. Go for something else... palm looks good; I just might try it

Please, any help would be appreciated, I've downloaded a Java version but I can't enter any text into the boxes so I can't login...HELP! PLEAESE!

14 pages of interaction and no conclusive result. what is better? a good looking car with an unreliable engine, or a poor looking car with a rusted body and the engine has been running for the past 20 years. Yes, I know the analogy is far fetched, but shrink the time to the life expentancy of this phone and what do you get?
