y do ppl moan about the looks of the phone being similar to blackberry bold? to remind u guys this phone is not even a bit similar to bold ..... not in a million years. yes the camis 2MP but thats about it. the two companies are top notch competitors and and they both deliver state of the art and reliable products. either of the cases its atleast not like those main stream nokias and sony ericssons. these lot experiment with top of the line features and products (android) no other company has the balls to experiment on this scale. hats off to htc keep up the good work. i work for vodafone and i will promote ur products .........!

@ Anonymous - Having had experience with the BB Curve and a WinMo phone (T-Mo Dash), I'll take the WinMo device any day! There are more/better/cheaper apps available. It's easier to troubleshoot/fix. And, it's just as, if not *more*, stable. (My wife's BB locks up all the time!) And... it looks here like the Snap closes the hardware gap nicely!

I have used winmo smartphone for over 3 years running until last year, I switched to Nokia e71 for my business needs.. but really miss the simplicity of winmo smartphone when placing a call, create schedules, or even texting.
At the moment, I am using blackberry bold and Nokia e71 simply because : Bold for BBM feature and Nokia e71 for browsing internet and GPS.
I really hope HTC Snap will eliminate my needs for using nokia e71.. really hate the symbian design on functions such as scheduling and phone calls.

I have a Dash and I love it. Except for the trackball the Snap looks like it would be really cool! My wife has a BB Curve with a trackball and I *hate* that thing. It's amazing how often she needs me to clean out the crud that gets sucked into the trackball socket.

i am a huge fan of htc in general, i have used the s620 for over 30 months now although i have tried i phone 1 and 2 the blackberry and nokia smart phones as well as the truly appalling samsung omnia 900 they have always fallen well short of the htcs620......
it makes me chuckle to read the bb users comments, believe me bb is laughable in comparison to even the now ancient s620 so the snap will be leagues ahead...
althought i agree the 2mp is a little dissapointing i can assure you that the 1.3mp on my s620 enables me to take photos adequate for the basis of photo montage architectural work where as the 5mp in the omnia was useless.
as a business person who needs e mail, text, cam, vid, docs, pdf the s620 ticks every box apart from a bit more speed.... so i say.... thankyou htc for pausing your fruitless efforts with the god awful touch screen smart phones and improving the much loved s620....

I have an S620 and love it. I've tried tons of phones and although the speed of my phone is painfully slow, the form factor is so perfect that I have not switched. This looks like it will be an amazing upgrade an I will buy it, but I do have to say that I am shocked that HTC went on the cheap with the camera. 2mp is lame and they are only hurting themselves, the WM brand and potential. What are they thinking? It's a shame to see when a company makes a bad decision that is so obvious. Who's running the show there?

I hope it will not too expensive, while Bold, E71 are around 300-400E. HTC touch pro, diamond are about 500 or higher.
