Hi guys,
I am currently using the samsung JET but I am planing to get a HTC Tattoo.. I know that the Android OS does MultiTasking but I just wanted to know before I buy this beauty, how can we toggle between 2 or more apps. Do we have some kinda Taskmanager that we find on samsung JET or any Symbian based handset.
I must say, Samsung Jet is not as impressive, It has a samsung's own OS that is not at all productive, I mean we can't install any apps on it appart from JAVA based which are untested and poor in nature.
Any ways, I will sell out my JET and get a TATTOO.
I have never used a HTC mobile but I know that it makes one of the best mobiles on the market.
Please answer to my question about multitasking.
Thanks to all,
Have a wonderful new year ahead.
SMX...

I am owning one for a couple of days now and initial impressions are very good. Especially considering the price. I was long looking for a compact Android phone (that i could take with me when jogging), and now its here. Its small, feels solid, and ofcourse the Android and HTC Sense look is pretty. I really love this one and would definitely recomend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced, compact yet usable smartphone.
About battery - for me it lasted about 1,5days. But i was constantly downloading and confing. In case of normal usage i believe it lasts a bit longer; we'll see. Phone (not sure if its Android or HTC Sense) has nice feature breaking down the battery usage. So its pretty easy to track what's the cause of draining battery - whether it have been the OS, calls, standby, WiFi or Display. I believe when there are lots of apps running, it consumes battery. At least on my case - when dowloaded tons of apps - i saw the OS part increased from 10% to 93%. Now after recharge and restart i see that OS takes practically nothing.

technofool, 24 Nov 2009Why does this phone score so low in the votes? Low 7s? It ... morecapacitive does make a difference - its a touch screen, you use it day in, day out. Resistive is pixel accurate but suffers lessened "touchability" under thumb or finger touch.

Hi all ,
Believe me its a amazing phone , you would enjoy the power of Android with such a affordable price , people may think htc magic would be a good choice for a budget price..but think of the battery ..this phone is very good with the battery life for heavy users it can withstand for 1 day .i watched movies,tv over my 3g ..it was amazingly withstanding .

Hello to all.
I'm using Tatoo after one year of using Diamond and must tell that i'm very impresed with Android.
Great phone, easy to use.Android is mo' better than WM OS.
Htc is do well job with this phone.
It's very compact.Display is good and Sence UI is gliding. As I said befor much better than TF in WM phones.
Also has good sound (using Senheiser headset) ...
Bad side:
battery with one day life time,
low offer with apps for Android phones (but was same when I use Qtek 8310 few years ago) ...
i sugest to everybody buy this phone specialy my friend Ninoslav :)
