I like this phone more and more with each day. Btw I noticed something interesting about the camera when watching one of the videos about the Titan. First it has that great option when you can acess the camera even if phone is locked just by pressing the shutter key.
But the most "juicy" thing is how fast the camera is. Entering the app was instant just like scrolling from one homescreen to another and it was the same when taking a photo.

I will find the exact video showing it, but it will take me some time since there are a lot of them on YT. I hope you will all follow Anthony and post more info on this gorgeus phone. Thx

[deleted post]Be as angry as you want but he is right.
All you are doing is going on and on about an Android Phone in a Windows Phone forum. You think when people clicked this like it was because they wanted info and opinions about Samsung and Android? Or was it for opinions of the Titan and by extension the WP7 OS? The people that want to read and post opinions about the “Samsung Galaxy Note” normally go to….
        http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note-reviews-4135.php

They are not coming in the HTC Titan forum because of how great the “Samsung Galaxy Note” is, so just give it up already.
Post something NEW with a bit of facts, may it be for or against the TITAN and stop being a broken record about “SGN” and HTC “BS”
If you must criticize, do some research and come with some details. Not just say “BS” over and over again.

and don't hide behind "Anonymous" when everyone can still see your I.D. "stSP"

The OS is made by Microsoft; of course it can edit Microsoft office files. It’s the main selling points of the OS. It’s compatibly with MS Office, Xbox live, Outlook & MS Zune. If you don’t use any of those things you would really have a reason to get a “Windows Phone”

Many people have complained about the “No card slot” before you
And the reason for no card slot in a WP7 OS phone has also been given before as well.
No card slot does not mean it does not have a SD card internally.
So why are you just repeating without adding anything new, are you and echo?

HTC produces the best looking and most performant mobile phones. I have the HD2 and it's still better than most new ones.

[deleted post]I think you are posting under the wrong phone page here. If you have any comments about HTC Titan you are welcome to make them but if you have something to say about Sumsung's elephant of a phone then probably a different page would be better.

Well time will tell which phone is the better one but based on data that we have now shows that titan is a phone that is easy to hold and carry but samsung note is quite larger than titan and using it would be so difficult use due to which it would be of no use.

But for get to mention that the price of the SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE over $1000.00 now that is BS.
Is there an app you can use on it, that you cant use on a $400-500 Android phone?
Will its top end spec make it run MS office, Xbox live or give you skydrive access.
Which are the things that makes some one want a WP7 phone in the first place?

Hd, 06 Sep 2011I really appreciate your calculation....but I think you nev... moreI know exactly what I was saying when I was compeering a 46inch TV to the 4.7inch screen on the Titan.
I did take viewing distance into consideration.
Below is the calculation for that.
Size of screen in Inches divided by 4 = the viewing distance in feet.
Optimum viewing distance of 46 inche TV is 46 divided by 4 = 11.5
Viewing distance is 11.5 feet or for you 350.52cm
Optimum viewing distance of 4.7inch titan screen is 4.7 divided by 4 = 1.175
Viewing distance is 1.175 ft or for you 35.82cm
Which is not too far from what you said.
So back to what I was saying about lines of rez per diagonal inch.
If you think 23.47 line per diagonal inch looks good on a 1080P HD TV at its optimum viewing distance
There is no reason why 102.13 lines per diagonal inch will not look better on the phone at its optimum viewing distance.

By the way I have watched movies that were ripped from DVD and converted for the HD2 which has only 56K colours and it was good.
This has 16M color support. Along with the 102.13 lines per diagonal inch.

                                  so let me ask you....
have to ever watch a hi res movie on a screen this size with 16m color and 480P to know it will not show good?

Have you taken the distance at which your eyes are from the screen between your 46" TV and your Titan? Cause, you don't sit at elbow distance to your TV, but you do with your Phone. So the farther away you are from your TV, the smaller the pixels are, and that's why, 480X800 could not be as crisp. But I would love to see the screen on Titan, and if it's not that of a big deal, I would go for it.
