Hi, to all you people who are contemplating whether or not to purchase the HTC Touch Cruise a.k.a Polaris..Im a mobile freak and i need to change my cell phone every 3 mnths. I was initially keen on the Nokia E-71 and Apple Iphone 3G but after a lot of research and deliberation i settled for the HTC Touch Cruise.
I have been using this phone for now 23 days and i must admit its a wonderful phone, very aesthetically built and stirdy which doesn look plasticky like some Nokia handsets..its quite light for a business phone. Built in softwares are excellent and you could always add more junk or things ud need..battery is fabulous..mine lasts for 1.5 days with 2 hrs of GPRS,3 Hrs of phone calls and fiddlin and playing games all the time etc..This is a very undermined feature and this is the reason i opted for this phone considering every site has criticized Touch Diamond and its true that it has a pathetic battery lasting 12 hrs max. After using this, il honestly recommend it to everyone who needs it or doesnt need it for business purposes..the phone is selling at a higher rate at some places than the HTC Diamond..ul know why wen u have it..id give it 9 on 10

i have touch criuse the internal speakr is falied and board is fail are this phone is good?

At the beginni... morewhy don't you try flush it again with original ROM, then go to www.htc.com download original ROM in english and install it. or take viz advice, go to forum.xda-developers.com you will find something useful for your problem.

There you will find a wm6 original shipped murata rom. The best radio version so far is 1.58.25.14.

HELP!!!!
I have a touch cruise for 2 weeks. At the beginning I had the Windows in Spanish, and somebody helped and made it in English! Due to this transformation I had almost no phone signal!!!If I stayed in the house I had no signal at all, and outside at most 2 lines! I got back to that person and he told me that he had instaled a so called "chip" from a website and told that my phone is one of the first ones made and thei have signal problems and HTC manufacturer posted a driver! CAN ANIONE KNOW WHERE CAN I FIND THIS DRIVER IN THE FUTURE? thanks

I have one for a mounth and it's camera has just cracked by itself!!! At a PDA u dont need a cam!

Bought this from India for 30500rs
Deluxe edition - comes with carkit/1map
Good for professional users.
For the processor inside, it doesnt look fast enough.
If 3G and GPS are used, battery is discharged too quickly.
At times, the display is blank, need to restart (happens once a week)
Not viewable in direct sunlight
Camera is too slow. Gets snapped only after 1 or 2 seconds in normal light.
Almost impossible to use video recording.
If these were rectified, it was the best phone for the price.

hello everyone!
i'm arobotic engineer from iran,htc touch cruise is so slow that i cant work with it!
this problem makes me angry!delay,delay,delay!
it has delay after pressing any keys to do something!
small display!
no flash!
long delay to opening the camera!
a weak image prossecor!believe me!
a long delay to open keboard option(about 3 or4 sec!!!!)
weak sound!
but beautiful design!
i dont offer to profasional users!
