I had the WING (T-Mobile USA) before I got the Touch cruise. The wing had the "voice command" on it which anabled it to announce incoming calls and read out your incoming text msgs. I navigated all over the Touch Cruise but cud not find this command. Did I miss something or is it not available on the Touch Cruise? Sent several emails to the customer care and technical support links available on the HTC website, but no reply.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2008does any 1 know if the gps is full navigational features in... moreYes the GPS is with voice navigation. You don't have to pay anything extra for that. It takes a minute or two longer than a regular GPS receiver for the phone to establish a connection with the satelites. Bottom line, the phone is awsome. I have had nothing but HTC products for the past three years.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2008does any 1 know if the gps is full navigational features in... moreDude,
I have the phone. You don't have to pay for GPS and you can unlock the map of anyone city, free of cost. (Some of the world's major cities are covered, only) If you want to unlock the maps of other cities of the 'map-provider' (MapKing), then you need to pay MapKing. Check the MapKing website for more details.

the pda is sexy,u can set ur own ringtone..wi-fi browsing is too good, phone is having the roller key which make 80% easy to avoid flippy clickers of pds.
it is atlest much much better than HTC Touch...it has got good memory storage & program, i would give 9 out of 10...worth buying...i've replied after using after 5 months....

At last i got the cruise, later i'll send a detailed review about it, but just keep in your mind that this phone is a business phone, use it as your mid way between your laptop and your lovely phone. this is to give serious ppl some fun, this is not for young children :)

can anyone please help me out here.... thinking of getting a pda soon, and have been advised by a couple of self confessed tech pros to get the htc tytn II. the thing is, i've read a couple of the reviews and also comments posted in here and now i'm not so sure which should i get. I've previously used the nokia communicator 9500, the sony ericsson P990i and also the O2 atom exec (not so sure about the model as used it for just a couple of weeks before the sony ericsson but do remember clearly that had a lot of problem navigationg thru the interface and also setting the email accounts).
please help me out here, anyone....??

i have recently bought the phone, and have had no problems with it. windows runs smoothly and quickly. the screen is beautiful, the colours are great. the camera is fine as long as there's enough light. typing takes a bit to get used to, but the t9 help so much and after getting used to it typing is a breeze. touchFLO work flawlessly, absolute genius, i love it, the a2dp is great with my plantronics headphones. wifi is surprisingly quick. in the address book, the scrolling for names, with the alphabet thing on the side makes it so much easier and faster to look up a contact. stylus is not much needed, only for more detailed work. have had no problems with the gps, works great, the in car phone holder fits snugly, but seems to pull out my stylus everytime i pull my phone out of it. one thing i wish htc would have done, was to include a 3.5mm slot for headphones, been itching to buy the shure's mobile ready headphones. other that no complaints so far. as for paint wear, i have not experienced it, but have seen it only on those non-working sample phones that stores have at the door and, everyone is playing with them, and it only happens on the hard buttons, it may be because there have been so many ppl who were playing with it, truthfully i barely even use the hard buttons, even with a call comes it, theres a button to push on the screen and i usually use that one. well i'm out of things to say, so hope this helps

Navanee, 22 May 2008Hi, What the maximum MicroSD card it supports, i own Nok... moreAfter having problems with my touch cruse, I was told by their support staff that they do not support cards above 2Gb and blamed my 4Gb card for the problems but it played up after taking it out as well so it is not in to be fixed. In addition, they said that you should only install HTC software; I had several programs reliable programs that they also tried to blame.

Forgot to add another featuer which Cruise wins over Diamond: talk time and battery power! We really need this if we use all features of these phones. So again in this comparison, Cruise wins over.

Good luck in choosing phone of your choice!

There are a few more things we should think, while shelling out a good sum on any phone! It should support our requirements at lest for quite some period, with all our needs.

Diamond's positives are its good looks. But considering expansibility feature, it lacks support of expansion slot & camera also dont have the mirror. If u plan to store songs and use the space for storing data, this will really be a hit in the running time. Curuise is a phone packed will the best of feature, and it just lacks the kewl look, like the Diamond!

Finally if you really wanna choose a Man's phone with all features to play with and good upgrade support, Cruise is the one!
