Hi Guys. Have been planning to buy a htc for some time. After reading opinons of both HTC TC and HTC Diamond, m not sure which one is a better piece. I m disappointed that diamond does not have cord slot and that both have only 65k colour display. Also i m not happy that diamond is available in triband and not quadband. Sad that one has to choose between two options.
    CAn pls somebody advice.

men this is much better than iphone. it is so sleek and compact that i have to be surprised. The screen is much brighter than N95 (which i had before). It ran so smooth!!! Loving it

@Bacchus, If it's anything like the tilt, then yes you will have problems viewing in sunlight. When my tilt dims down to its secondary backlight I cant see a thing or if I am taking pics in sunlight its hard to see what I am viewing. But when you wake up the phone to its main screen you can see everything names, numbers, pics you already took, web pages etc. Hope this is helpful, thanx eddie

I have heard stories of the HTC Touch Cruise screen is not visible under sunlight.

From experience can someone confirm such?

There is a problem with bluetooth. It is not able to connect to my car's bluetooth device. Car's bluetooth device find phone and tries to connect, but HTC just does not accept the connection. On the same time there is not any problems concerning car's bluetooth device connection with Ericsson or Nokia phones. Car's bluetooth devices software was upgraded few days ago, no difference. What could be good solution - reinstall phones bluetooth driver or anything else? Or just sell out the phone not useable during driving?

Yes, FM is available via the HTC-only headset that includes the FM antenna. Both the headset & FM radio s/ware are included with the PDA.

This is an excellent PDA/phone. Much better than the previous model. I've used it in the UK & Jamaica with different SIM cards - absolutely no issues. Very fast response even with my 2,600 contacts and 250 notes (do you have more data?)!! Absolutely no regrets :-)

FYI - I've used various Treos and WM PDAs over the years.

Push e-mail, MS Office Mobile, SMS, I-Net browsing all work well. Comes with IE as default but Opera is also available :-) Bluetooth & 802.11 wireless - no problem.

The camera is fine - but, obviously, I prefer my Canon SLR :-)

The included TomTom GPS s/ware worked flawlessly in London, even while sitting in the Gatwick Express!! (Note: I downloaded London as my free city.) I think it has walk, drive, sail & fly modes - I tested the drive & walk modes. Other cities are available for on-line purchase. I hope to try it in the USA later this year.

The combination of WM6 and the 400 MHz processor means no need to reset this WM PDA/phone every few days!! And this PDA does not freeze up whenever it is receiving a text msg.

Touch-Flo is great and works well, if you like that sort of interface. I use the stylus for detail work.

Make sure to apply the screen protector as soon as you take the PDA out of the box!!

I am thinking about buying this phone but would like to know if the GPS integrates with the camera so that the GPS coordinate is recorded for easy access in a photo's metadata. Anyone know?
