Well since cruise supports SD2.0 virtually it should support all. 2GB will work as a charm. Not quite sure of other capacities.
Good news is that SanDisk has announced about a 32GB microSD card in CES 2008. Not sure of the price tag and release date.

do not buy this phone, this phone is a garbage, almost any other sofware you install on it will slow this piece of crap down a lot. this is impossible to use full power of it because of the cpu, customer service is the shity one...

And to add to my comments you should definitely experience Opera Mobile (the Java Version) not the built in Opera or Windows browser because this mostly matches the Iphone browsing experience which as far as I can see is the Iphones only real quality if you dont care about music and video because the other applications are totally c**p.

Damn this phone is good. Video playback aside (which is not that big an issue for me) it is way better than the Iphone that I spent some time with because of the choice of applications and the built in GPS for starters.
I have to say I would love the Iphone with the Windows Mobile platform personally.
Once you have added a few of your favourite applications this is simply awesome.
Despite claims of good battery life I have not found that. I probably play with it too much!

Can anyone tell me why the SAR value for this mobile seems to be 0.88 w/kg and yet for the XDA Orbit 2 it seems to be 1.72 w/kg?
I thought that the mobiles were the same.
Thanks

Hmmm......So many questions relating to the comparison of iphone & HTC devices.
First of all I would like to mention that both are not the same (runs on different software platforms)
IPhone is rich in graphics and ofcourse is a good music player. The finger mechanisms used are also really innovative. It is larger is size.
However it lacks so many features, like 3G, GPS, FM radio, 3rd party software support, etc....
I think it is not worth for the price(remeber apple slashed the price by a 100 bucks after couple of months, and even the apple fanatics were angry about that)
Of couse there are people who has put some 3rd party software into iPhone(which is commonly known as jailbreaking). However if you do this you will automatically lose your warranty.
As per to HTC devices they run on windows mobile platform. HTC touch cruise runs on windows mobile 6. On top of this they have their own touch cube(this is not innovative as the apple's one; but still it is cool)
Cruise has QVGA (quarter VGA) screen and there is a known video driver issue (but it is not that much slow; and I believe sooner or later HTC will address this).
Apart from these, this will be a superb device to consider as it additionally has 3G, radio, GPS and most of all support to thousands of third party software to play around with.
Simply said iPhone is a sealed box with limited content where as HTC cruise is the opposite. So if I'm you I'll definitely go for the Cruise over the iPhone
Hope now you know what to chose...
