With the "transcriber" it is really easy to type - once you get to fix your writing - and it will be easy as 2x2! GPS works great, not slowing at all, easy gets the signal and keeps it running good! I am using the iGo , because the graphics are better, still haven't tested the TomTom that it came with, so I can't tell :) If you want to type fast, just buy a BT Keyboard and thats it :) And now I am sure - thats the best you can get at that moment - little confused about the new HTC P3470 - 2 steps backward for HTC :( Cool design, but NO Wi-Fi and NO 3G, and 200 Mhz processor - ??!!?!

HTC cruise is by far the best touch device out. I have had mine for a month or so, and have had no problems at all. Wouldnt think twice.

No need to worry about the keybord as you have a number of choices to choose from (most of them are optimized to be used with bare hands and ofcourse it is freely shipped with the device. So it is a quite nifty feature). I specifically like this device rather than tyTn ii as you can type anything using a single hand. Would be handy when you are travelling. GPS is OK as this comes with a 20 channel GPS receiver. Cool device

            Sam,
you can download the user manual from gsmarena itself. Just below the htc touch cruise picture see carefully; you will find a link named Manual (it should be the 5th or 6th link). Click to download the manual from there.

the device is great! I love it :) I just bought it a week ago and it is more than perfect, even without the drivers!!! With the drivers it will be just "divinity" :) Video is OK, if you want perfect video, just buy a camera. Wireless works great, GPS receiver - no problems at all. TOUCH-Flo - perfect , very comfortable! Photos, even without the flashlight - perfect! At daylight - more than perfect :) In conclusion- very stylish phone!! Great business device, outstanding battery - the best that you can buy at that moment!

Hmmm ... nice phone, but without the video driver issue resolved I wait for Sony's X1 ... which has WM and iphone format :-)

                        Hi dokebi,

Ya thanks. It is indeed Q3 which is July onwards. It'll be rare for two different companies to have the same problem(video driver). So let's look fwd to it.

Btw, Touch Cruise was advertised in Singapore papers y'day (Starhub).

Anyone knows when this will be released in Singapore? Can't wait to get the hands on this device. Hope both Starhub and Singtel will release with the postpaid packages (unlike the touch dual which was not released by Starhub)

HTC is cool, I have one, It can work on all network in the Philippines, is all automatic you just use the network wizard function, I even use it as a modem for my laptop, and you can browse the net on your phone alone , but I got a problem , my gprs is ok but I cant recieve and send MMS. I tried going to the customer service but the said is all set but still I cant. But anyways GPRS is cool enough

                                  Technical Question:

Does anyone know if this cruise use the electron sensitive touchscreen technology like the iPhone, or does it use the standard pressure sensitive screen?

Fahrettin, yes, there's an FM radio on the device. You can search it and you can even find screenshots of the radio application running.

As a follow-up to my last comment, the one in Tagalog. I'd like to translate Eugene's question and my answer for everyone's sake. Eugene asked if this phone is ever going to be released in the Philippines. I replied and said that he could check Greenhills, which is a place in Metro Manila that has a lot of vendors selling cellphones. Also, I'd like to add that if this is ever going to be released officially in the Philippines, then the major carriers would begin to sell the phone. You can inquire with these carriers to find out if they have plans of supporting this phone to give you peace of mind.
