wao HTC what a phone to have but its unbelievable that such high tech phone could still have manufactural short coming as such.
you need to find a replacement for the battery. i am not pleased with this phone with refereence to all the comments of the end users.
we love the phone at start but the more we use it the more we keep detecting things that is unpleasantry with the phone we bougth with such big money we use in purchasing it.

can any one tell me how much time does it take to fully charge.mine took abt 2hrs.now a days its taking abt 3-4hrs to fully charge.pls help

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010hey guys!! i have a htc diamond which doesnt switch on now.... moreur battery was completly discharged,in this case the phone does not detect it therfore its not charging,u have to manually charge the battery with 2 cables for about 1 min(i know its sounds dodgy but it works, make sure u remove it from ur phone first).replace the battery in ur phone and then put it on charge

The gps on the htc diamond is the best mobile gps iv come across, its quick and has never let me down, iv just upgraded from tomtom6 2 tomtom7 and im very impressed. if anyone needs help!! installing maps i can tell you how to get and install the lastest navigation software

Ive had my Htc diamond for more than a year now.....its a really great phone, sleek design, good feel in hand. I'd advise alll diamond users to hard spl their phones and flash the right roms. they can be found at the xda developers http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=521941

mine runs smooth and no freezing at all. A bit of research and tweaking and u will have a superb phone. as for batteries, u might consider the 1340 mah provided by htc or the slim http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi10hdiam.htm
