Anonymous, 03 Jul 2009Are you sure the diamond is 3g enabled coz d specifications... moreRajeev is correct NONE of the HTC devices sold in India prior to Touch HD and Touch 3G are having the 3G radio. I have had a long but futile correspondence with HTC on their such 'Cost cutting' manoevers where Nokia/SE/Samsung etc all have been providing 3G enabled handsets since last two years at least....Touch Pro and Diamond sold in India are Tri Band GPRS/EDGE and can NOT be upgraded to 3G.... Sad but true... Good I have a Nokia E-71 too; other wise Diamond is a brilliant package while Pro is still better....

hi i just bought a htc diamond 2 weeks ago.i have a problem whit my phone.the problem is the battery.
it is not even lasting for 5 hours.
plz help me with this situation.what should i do to gain more battery backup.

Harriet, 07 Jul 2009Hi i have this phone but i cant seem to work the bluetooth ... morethe song has to be in MY RING TONES folder on the device (not in the internal storage) for u to be able to choose it as a ringtone.. though there are free online softwares available, allowing u to choose music files from any folder. additionally they can be used to assign different ringtones to different groups in ur phonebook

yes, almost a month after downloading the ROM UPDATE 1.93.720.4 FROM INDIA WEBSITE, i convinced myself to update my diamond with the latest rom... it was lot easier than i thought.. ten minutes at that! ve noticed marked improvement in the touch flo 3d interface.. grabbing and chosing the tab from home screen is lot more easy and accurate now... but strangely the improvements this update brings up are not at all listed on the website.... ANY ONE FROM INDIA HAS ANY CLUES?.. normally updates list the improvements they would make in a device

Hi i have this phone but i cant seem to work the bluetooth on it at all, i have tried everything, and also i cant set a song as my ringtone, i need some help please could you write a comment back on her explaning my issues.

Manoj, 01 Jul 2009Hi........ the one I have doesnt have 3G how come your have?htc diamond sold officially in india is a 2G version cos of the general non availability of 3G networks yet but for BSNL and MTNL. also the phone was launched thru airtel which is not 3G till date

As people might be facing battery problems...can help u guys....my battery last 1 and half day easily...for moderate usage....nw wat do u expect frm such a powerful phone...u cn update the rom..it is very useful to mk phn fast and improves battery.....one best solution to preserve battery is change yor phn band setting to gsm.....or use phn on 2g mode...and switch 3g off.....trust me battery of this phn will be no issue......other tips i cn gv u ab battery hv loads and loads of tips.....just ask me.....
