HI all,
Just got a Ice-White Diamond.
Good ownership experience but lags in basic usage.
Will go back to Nokia Symbian after 9 months ;)

It never behaved so when I used it on Vodafone and it went on smooth for 3-4 months. Th HTC service at Jaipur too dittos it. Try using it on Voda , Idea or BSNL. It shud be solved. If your set is network locked contact the retailer/HTC service to get the unlock code.

hey all, I installed this xda action screen that makes a really nice shortcut, but when I tried NEED EMAIL, or NEW SMS, or NEW MMS, it gave me an alarm that said something about 'not trusted certificate' or something. all other features worked, (notes, calendar, etc). i tried installing it to both DEVICE MEMORY and INTERNAL STORAGE, neither worked. any ideas, anyone? i had it installed in PROGRAM FILES of either memory.

http... morehey, much thanks replying about the rotation apps. i been reading many forums about the gyrator app and sounds dizzyingly complex. i installed the .net 3.5 necessary to use gyrator, but havent had the nerve to open and install it. too intimidated, really.
but i just really wanted to thank you for you effort and thorough, quick response. i'm so impressed there are people and pages like this for support.

sermeny, 30 Mar 2009hi vikim i just want to ask abput step NO.3 what do u mean ... morejust click on connection signal icon(bars next to sound which is their in title menu) then ull get the setting option,click on it,then u will get lot of options......phn,services,network,band,pin....lk wise...just click on band and select this option for select your network type...just make it gsm....it will improve battery as auto band....sucks battery due to 3g network.....reply...

i saw a post where someone talked about installing something that would allow screen rotation in all applications, I even recall writing how to stop the in-call screen from rotating after install. I can't find that post now, but what app it was. I know it was by xda developers. can someone please help?
btw- i love my diamond. i had one, but was having mass memory issues, it was barely functional & at only 2mb of device memory. i tried a touch pro, then 2wks later exchanged back to diamond knowing more about WM this time around and have had NO PROBLEMS
Anyhow, plz help RE rotate. thnx

I got the Diamond this week and I have no regrets at all. It takes a while to get used to the touch screen, but once you do, the phone is all fun! The screen is great and I don´t think it is as slow as some people have posted here...

hey people if u are having hanging problem and all just update yor phone to version 1.93 its really worth it,as it removes the problems and make phn really fast,and as per the battery is concerned just !(1) switch off the beam
(2) go to setting,advanced network,disable hsdpa/hsupa as it is big battery sucker..
(3) go to phn setting,go to band,choose yor network type to gsm.....
(4) download g light software for yor phn it will control screen light according to the light sensors its really good.....and trust me yor battery will stay longer and much better than before.....atleast 1 and half day with good usage....like it used to get over in just 1 day...with theses recommendation yor standby of phn will also improve.....trsut me tey these things....it will help u a lot.....me also a user of this phn really found it better through these setting....and just post yor reply if u find it good...thanku
