hey people if u are having hanging problem and all just update yor phone to version 1.93 its really worth it,as it removes the problems and make phn really fast,and as per the battery is concerned just !(1) switch off the beam
(2) go to setting,advanced network,disable hsdpa/hsupa as it is big battery sucker..
(3) go to phn setting,go to band,choose yor network type to gsm.....
(4) download g light software for yor phn it will control screen light according to the light sensors its really good.....and trust me yor battery will stay longer and much better than before.....atleast 1 and half day with good usage....like it used to get over in just 1 day...with theses recommendation yor standby of phn will also improve.....trsut me tey these things....it will help u a lot.....me also a user of this phn really found it better through these setting....and just post yor reply if u find it good...thanku

Although not specified on the specs, this phone Does support HSUPA with a firmware update.

I just got my diamond, I will be doing a full review comparing it to my instinct. If you don't have either phone but are thinking about getting either one and have any question let me know and I'll be sure to include them in the review. I will be comparing the internet browsers, the music players, camera, and more.

Hi GSMArena pals,
I have a HTC diamond for couple of days and on stand by battery last for 5 hours, is that connected with the program that are running, I looked at the task manager to see what programs are on, but there is no programs running, when I go to the program usage it says that usage is on 58%, is that normal?Which programs needs to be on and which not?
What do I need to turn off or do, that my battery life improves!

Hi, I am Man Singh from Jaipur Rajasthan. I am using Touch Diamond since last 5 months. It often gets switched off when GPRS is on & a call comes. Recently one more problem is there when I attach a photo to a contact, it does't update in outlook contacts. It shows error code 1. Please advise

Hi, can some one pls help me. I'm unable to browse using WIFI when the the combination of security is Authentication: WPA PSK and Data Encryption: TKIP. It gets connected, but I'm unable to browse.
But I'm able to connect to WIFI and browse when the Authentication: OPEN and Data Encryption: WEP.
Can any one pls tell me why I'm unable to browse with the first combination and if there is some work around. Thanx..

Hi, this is a pretty toy. But unfortunately my diamond damaged it's vibrator and camera only drop down from desk. My last phone E680 droped 100 times but nothing happened.

i have had the HTC diamond for like 4months now and i think it is absolutely amazing. i love it. people complain that it is hard to use but it really isnt. Amazing phone, true story ;)

Does anyone know what the symbol of an arrow facing upwards, a right angle triangle and a battery sign (All three, very small, on one line in the title bar, on the today screen) with an x on the bottom mean? it's been there on my title bar for quite some time now but i have no idea as to why its there in the first place and won't go when i turn the device off. does anyone know what this means and how i can get rid of it. Thank You.

Here in greece we have too many phones with these problem 3/4 of htc diamond go to service point to fix this lcd!!!!!!!!!You must go in the service point to fix.

this is a really a bad phone. I used it for 06 months & really gave up hopes that I had with HTC. Sound / battery / OS everything is bad.
only gud thing is phone looks gud thats it.
